It's the moon it's gotta be. Things always seem strange everywhere when it's a full moon. As far as the dog peeing on you....ick...esp by a big dog with lots of pee. My sons dog marks and it drives me crazy....that marking urine has the most pungent smell. As far as your neighbor being startled...that just happens to everyone from time to time. My DH has done it to me a few times. No one is home and I'm doing something and don't hear him come in...then I have this man appear. Scares the crap outta me! At least you made it home safe and sound.

My outside dog marks my uncle every time he comes to visit. Fortunately he wears workboots almost all the time! And he likes dogs.

Sorry you and Thor met all the crazies today. That would make me shake my head and wonder if I should just stay holed up with my dogs until all the full moon stuff was over!

Here is a story to make you laugh at the dobie marking -- I haven't been pee'd on by a strange dog but I was pee'd on by a tiger at a small zoo! Now a days you would never get that close, but this was years ago. I stood there with friends and was appalled when the thing cut loose with a 10-12 foot stream and made a bullseye on me! I spent a LONG time in the restroom trying to get it off me. Cried like a baby and completely ruined that fieldtrip! One of my top 3 "most embarrassing moments" growing up.

:sidesplt: Okay, yes, you're right. Being marked by a tiger in the dog park would have been much, much worse, for a lot of reasons.

Ok so I thought Thor's story was the funniest of the day... til I read THIS one! HAHAHAHAHAH You poor woman!

But yes, getting peed on probably isn't any fun. Its never happened to me and I hope it never does!!

That was the one book assigned in high school that I didn't finish. I read everything I could get my hands on, but that book broke me.

I was "taken advantage of "by a big shepherd mix when I was a kid. I was at one of my parents' friends houses. After knocking me over and humping me I ran in the house because I thought he had "peed" on me.

Pee he had not. . .

I am still scarred
