Help My pup Destiny have being laying around all day and I want to know should I be concered? |
Anytime your baby acts differently than normal, you should be concerned |
It may be due to the heat (high temperature) today. If not, need to monitor the situation, & if it continues call your vet. |
^^^^True, but very young pups sleep alot.... how old is she? |
How old is your pup? Any time they are not acting normally it is a concern. Do you have a vet to call? |
Get some Nutri-cal in her and make sure that's not the problem |
Also make sure she is hydrated. Nutrical is always helpful when they seem lithargic. Keep a watchful eye. You know your baby better than anyone else. Go with your gut if something dosent seem right go to the vet. Good luck and keep us posted!! |
I just recieved her two days ago and I'm kind of new at this and I haven't been feeling all that great either, but when my boyfriend came home she started playing with him. But she is 10 weeks old and I really and truley don't know what to do with her and she keep chewing on everything and she keep scratching and licking herself...whats the problem can someone please help!!! |
Does she have fleas? Is her skin dry or flakey? These are only two things that might cause her to lick and scratch herself. These are the easy ones. Have you had her checked out by a Vet yet? You will need to start her on her shots anyway so make a Vet appt to have her examined. These little guys need constant attention when they are this young and you might as well get used to chewing, this is her job. lol Be sure to have a few toys so she won't use you or your furniture legs. There is a ton of info here and everyone is happy to help with a particular problem, sonmeone always knows the answer. Good luck and keep us posted, we love Yorkie puppies. BTW, your live in my favorite city, we visit there as often as possible, I love it there!! Lucky you. |

I'd also take her to the VET. She needs to be examined, because anytime you bring home a puppy it is inportant to make certainthat she is healthy. She will need to be on a vaccine schedule, and be dewormed. Be certane thather food is of high quality. There is a list of super premuim foods on the health and diet section of this fourm. Anther thing that may help you is, to realise your new puppy is much like a human baby. She is going to be needy, demading, and want your attention. Play with her, pet her often, talk to her in a soft, loving voice. She needs to bond with her owner, to feel safe and secure. That way a lot of behavioral problems won't ever surface. Always be positive towards her. Remember that at the age, puppies will want to sleep, eat, and play! :) |
I don't see any on her and I washed her yesterday and I didn't notice any... |
