Ear troubles!!! Just recently I have noticed that the top of Teddy's right ear has began to flop. This really bothered me at first but now I think it goes perfect with him and gives him more personality! But I am still wondering what exactly caused this to happen??? Both ears stuck up fine until about a month ago...I was just wondering if anyone had any answers as to why this happens?? Thanks so much! |
Do his ears need to be trimmed? As little hair as it is, it can cause their ears to fall. |

Teething can also cause this. How old is Teddy? During teething, ears tend to flop up and down. Also, the tips of the ears probably need to be trimmed if he's never been groomed before. That usually helps a great deal and takes the weight of the hair off the ears. |

I think the top third of their ears get trimmed, I am not a groomer so my advice is non-professional but I have trimmed their ears. I comb the top third of the ear hair up and cut along the ear edge to "tip" the ears. It really did help mine when they were younger. |

Thanks! It scares me to get that close haha that's why I was like let's just leave that to the groomer! Haha. I plan on taking him back soon so I might drop him off and come back to a new Teddy! haha Thanks for all the advice yall! |
