It's not easy My daughter and I had a grooming shop, we helped with lots of rescues. We had a lady that was going to put her dachshund down because it had a broken back and could not use its hind legs. She wondered if we could help out. We took her in and our blessed customers, helped us to raise money to get her the "wheels". She took to the wheels and did really well, but was not easy on her in the beginning. She could only wear them for a few hours in the beginning. She needed them off when she wanted to nap, so it is like an on off on off situation. Thank God that she eventually gained the use of her back legs again. She was given to a good home and she lived the rest of her life happy without the "wheels". The dogs that have to use them do not LOVE them, if they are born that way or something happens to them and it is the only alternative, then so be it, but believe me the baby does not believe they are "COOL WHEELS". Please do wish it on any little girl or boy. |

I think she was just joking because we misunderstood her the first time around. ? |
Umm This thread is weird. First off theres a lot of work in having a baby like this. and I just dont understand this thread. one would have to be fitted for a Yorkie to use, and that would take time.
I have always been a huge lover of those adorable puppies who are missing their back legs, but get a wheel chair. They are sooooo cute zipping back and forth. I know it's a little far to get an operation on my Yorkie, Zimbibo so that she could have a hot set of wheels, but I am really yearning for this. Any suggestions?
Quote:

its so nice to see that you all care so much about any baby in need. i thought it was obvious that i was just kidding around, since my first post was misinterpreted this way lol anyway, as im sure you know, the real question was whether or not i should adopt my neighbor's special yorkie. after thinking about it for a few days, i decided against this. although i really want to help out this yorkie, i don't know if me, or my own baby are ready for it. thanks for all your help, ill let you know when my neighbor finds a new home for her yorkie! |

You just said in the thread above this one that you DID NOT TAKE the other Yorkie! What the heck are you talking about? You are making no sence at all. Hello? |
