Help! New Mom, Need Your Advice and Experience! PLEASE! :)I am picking up my new baby today at 7:30 a.m. She's a teacup Yorkie, named Bella. She is 6 months old. She is neutered, had remaining baby teeth removed and has had all but her last two puppy shots. I need ALL the advice I can get about training, feeding, etc. I have never had a Yorkie and this is all new to me. I am VERY worried about health issues and would like to know what is best to keep Bella healthy. Thanks ahead of time for all the wonderful advice I know I am going to receive. I can hardly wait to pick her up. |
Welcome! Get some nutrical and have it handy in case she has hypoglycemic issues. Pick a good quality kibble to feed her. If she wont eat it mix in some canned food. Buy some pet stairs to put by your couch and eventtually your bed(if you let her sleep with you. One of the biggest things I see on here with the little yorkies is them breaking their legs from a jump or getting LP from jumping. Are you outside training or pad training? Has the breeder trained her at all? |
