Yorkie sling carrier Hey, I just purchased a sling carrier for my baby Ranger because he likes to be held constantly. I was wondering if anyone else has tried them out and if they have liked them. |
Love them... they are great and so easy for the furkids.. |
Is this the sling carrier? So they don't mind this? The second one, looks very weird to me. barkindogclothescarrier |
I actually purchased a little rubi carrier, here is the link: http://www.littlerubi.com/ |
What size did you order? |
I ordered an xs, as i am only 5'1" I hope it fits just right though. Their sizing chart helped out a little. |
How old is your little guy now? |
can you let us know when you get it if it works well? (maybe post a picture? ;)) thank you. :D |
I love them. I used it alot when my Jewels was young |
I got a back-pack carrier that I wore on my chest to carrier my Max everywhere. Because of his broken front legs, he sat sideways in it and was content. He also wanted to be able to see my face. If I buy another one for my other Yorkie, I'd definitely go with the sling. |
Oh I just bought one and I love it, Both my babies love it too, they are very comfy in it and can see what is going on, just like when they are being carried, I bought this one and I think it is both cute and practical with pockets to hold cell phone, treats, etc. :) Jellybean Couture Camo Dog Carrier |

I have one for Izzy and I love it. I got mine from the Yorkie Rescue Group as all the proceeds went to them. It's nice at the meetups..lol..that way I have two hands for shopping..lol. |
Yes we have one, the 1st week we had Sweet Pea my dd would not put her down, so she bought one and carries her everywhere, even to the bathroom! Now Sweet Pea is 5 months and she still gets carried around. At times i wish i was a cute puppy and got carried everywhere! The vet even joked and asked my dd if Sweet Pea remembers how to walk???? |
I have been looking into getting a sling ....... in my travels recently, I looked at one at a pet boutique called Moochie & Me in Indianapolis. It was really neat.... and had faux fur on the edge of it. VerY STYLISH, but didn't seem very practical. It was kind of complicated to get it put on the right way (there were "bumpers" sewn in where it rested on your hip which was nice). Thanks for posting the pics and websites of your slings..... It will give me some ideas as to what styles I have to choose from. :goodpost: |
I have a Juicy sling bag that I carry Pablo in. |

1 Attachment(s) I made somenthing like that but doesn't wrap around, is a little lower too, but a member of SFM make this ones and they are very strong:thumbup: |
I like that one too. Especially because it can hold your dog up so high. |
We have 2 slings for the girls. They are adjustable so they work out great. My daughter carries one and I carry the other one, or one of us can carry both. We just got back today, from Holden Beach, and we used them every day when we went out. The girls love to go. It is so nice if you are going to be getting in and out of the car and dont want to fool with a stroller.:) |
