Worried! Sorry I havent been on much the past 2 days..its been crazy around here! Anyways.. last night when I was playing with Trixie and rubbing on her and all I noticed a *bump* she has on her. Its like something that would look like a pimple or a boil on us humans and she has it right behind her right front leg. :( I dunno what to do or think. We called our vet and they told us its more than likely nothing and that the white is it coming to a head as to speak and that it will eventually rupture. Has anyone ever heard of this before? It has me worried to pieces and I wanna take her in, but they told me if I bring her in today without an appt. they charge extra for squeezing her in and its like at least $100 for the office visit just to see her and maybe tell me its nothing... I would have to wait til this evening.. but still... I guess Im looking for a piece of mind that it MAY be actually nothing to worry about.. Any thoughts? anyone else had this before on their babies? |
My cocker Tessa just had something like that near her eye - I did try to put cream on it - nothing happened .....so a few days later while I was on the computer - my hubby squeezed it and he fixed it ! I dont know what your babies looks like but sometimes they will go away on their own - could it be an Ant-bite or something ? |
I have never heard of this. I think I would just schedule a regular appointment and have it looked at ...I dont think its something that would have to be looked at immediately. Let us know what you find out about it. :) |
As long as she is eating and drinking, acting normally, I would try not to worry. You might give her a little nutrical and have some neosporin on hand. Otherwise, if you are very worried, because it is Friday - it will just get more costly through the weekend. You might call around and find another vet or emergency clinic that could see her for a reasonable rate. Hurry though, I think they get more and more busy as the weekend approaches. |
