Remember the 2 lb. pg baby I rescued? Well, it's been 7 wks today since her surgery to abort and spay her. She's doing absoutely wonderful! I have no doubts that she was malnourished. Her little tail had no hair on it and neither did her ears. She's eating like a little piglet and has gained 4 oz that I know of, and that was a couple wks ago. Her tail and ears now are almost normal. She's still very dependent on me, but, she's coming around to my other babies. She seems to get a little bravier every day. At first she wouldn't make a sound, except for that little howl/scream when I was out of her sight. Now she barks when the other dogs do and is starting to play with them. She has the cutest little bark! :D She is definitely a little diamond in the rough. My little Tia is such a little princess! :) |
What a great update! I'm so glad to hear she is thriving in her new environment. I'm sure she knows she is living the good life now. :) |

I've been wondering how this little girl was doing!! What a great update! Do you have any new pics of the little princess? :) |
I don't have pictures with me now, but I'll get some soon. She's a little cutie-pie! :p |
glad to hear she is doing so well! :aimeeyork |
Yes, yes pics!! Sophie had bald ears when I got her, turns out she had a tape worm. Once she got rid of the worm, her ear hair grew back like crazy. Anyone who suspects leather ear should check for tape worms. |
I wondered what had happened to her. Thanks for the update! Can't wait to see pictures! |

LunasMomma, in your avater, your little Yorkie looks like my Suzi , when I watched her flash before my eyes, I did a double take! the little brown one, with gold under her chin. What's her name? In Suzi's avater she still had her baby coat, I need to post new pic. of what she looks like now . :) |
