Pooping while walking?? My yorkie Simone doesn't stand still to poop. It is a problem whether we are outside or in the house, but surprisingly not when we go for walks:rolleyes: She will stoop to squeeze once for a split second and just kind of keep squeezing and walking off:confused: She will jump back to what she was doing before which will leave like little pebbles everywhere and I am a lose as to how I am suppose to fix it. I have tried saying no and stay and now she just refuses to pee or poop in front of me. |
is there any reason you have to fix it? My dog does that sometimes also, he also lifts his leg to pee and poops at the same time. just weird but Im not going to try to change it. |

Yes I have to fix it. If she is outside then it really doesn't matter, but in the house then poop is everywhere. |

I had a poodle who used to do this. Just keep working with her on potty training to go out side! As long as she does it outside let her do it how she wants. :) |
7 of my 9 dogs walk while pooping so if you figure a way to prevent it let me know! |
You have a potty pad indoors, right? Thor is a "poop-walker" too. If I see him walking off the pad, I re-direct him back on to the pad and let him stroll around a little a more. He's pretty good at getting it on the pad, for the most part. If she is really working to get the poop out, you might consider a change in diet. Faster poops = less strolling around. |
Sorry... had to laugh! Stormie, our Aust. Shep., does that too but thankfully it's outside! We have to to turn away if we see her doing it because I'm afraid we'll give her a complex by laughing. |
Bella walks and poops at the same time also and not only that we can't have eye contact with her or she'll quit, crazy! |

hahaha yeah i guess that would be a problem!!! |
I will try a change in diet, but if that doesn't work then I will just count my blessings:D She is so skittish that I couldn't come near her when she is poo-walking to redirect her because she will just run somewhere else I guess it is just another yorkie thing that I will just accept:p |
