Went to da gwoomer, den to da dogter
 

Hey duys--Weegie here. I had a berry bad day today. :( It started out ok, but it dust kept getting worse and worse. Well, Me and Bwasco had to go to da gwoomer today to get all pwettied up!!! I tink Bwasco was scared But I told him evweeting would be ok!!!!! Since I haff been thwu dis soo many times before and I wuv my gwoomer, Mommie dwopped us off!!!! And mommie gave her instructions on how to cut us!!!! She wanted us to haff cute puppy cuts, but keep the face long!!!!! So I went 1st to show Bwasco how cool it was!!!!! Well Mommie ended up getting a phone call fwom Susan (da gwoomer) telling her she had better call da vet! Mommie started flippin out wondering what da heck happened! Susan said she cut me and thought I would need a stitch or 2. :eek: So she fwies back to da gwoomers and takes me to da dogter!!!! I haff 2 big cuts on my chest and a whole bunch of little ones on my tummy and my legs. Good news though- they didn't haff to put dose stitches thingys on me! Dey weren't deep cuts. So I haff medicine to keep them fwom getting infected. But my Mommie is soooo mad!!! And sad. She don't understand how dis could haff happened. And da worst part is, I haff no hair!!! I tink I look like Chester!!! You know- da naked yorkie!!!! She cut all my mustache off and all my beard hair too. And now my ears look way bigger than they alweady are!!!! Mommie started cwying at da ddogters office. But I told her I was ok and its not her fault. So we had to weave da dogter, and go back to get Bwasco, who was still at da gwoomers. When we got dere, Bwasco was all done and he wooked sooo handsome!!! Mommie would have taken Bwasco wiff us when she came to get me, but Susan had alweady started on him, So she wet her finish. Dats why we had to go back.
So dat was my miserable day. I hope yu all had a beddae day den me!!!

By the way--Susan payed my vet bill, and was soo apologetic. But I still don't understand how this whole thing happened. She really didn't answer me directly. Cuz I wanted to get Luig to the vet. And when I picked up Brasco, I was already late for work, so I was in a rush. So I will be calling her tomarrow to find what happened. I am very upset right now.

Mandy, Oh My Goodness!!!! Poor Luigi and Poor you! I would be heartbroken and devastated.

I would be so upset too...Let us know what she says as to why this happened :confused:

I went through something similiar with my Shih Tzu. She was such a mess that I couldn't do anything with her so I took her to the groomers. When I went to picky her up they had cut a big chunk from behind her ear. Needless to say I didn't have to pay for the grooming. She had to have 2 staples the piece was almost the size of a 50 cent piece. I was livid. Not only did they reimburse me for the vet visit but, I also got several free grooming appts. I never used them. I asked them are you serious do you actually think that I would bring my dog back here?

What kind of drugs is she on anyway???????????????? :eek: She really ought to practice on herself before she kills a little doggie.

omg that is awful!! i'm glad he didn't have to get stiches. i would be so mad and hysterical crying if i were you, and i can tell you were! i'm so sorry. luigi is a big brave boy, i'm sure he's ok. BTW- i'm glad brasco turned out cute!

Oh my god, that is awful! Parker hasn't been to the groomer's yet so we haven't had any experiences yet. But how on earth did she cut him several times??? I could see one bad one, if the dog moved suddenly but several??? That is awful :confused: It's good to hear that he didn't need stitches though

Oh...that is such a scary story! I have never had the groomer cut any of my babies...luckily! I can see where it could be easy to do if they are wiggly but thye are the professionals and we trus them not to make mistakes. Poor baby. :(

I am soooo sorry for you! The bad part, is that he will probably be extra scared the nest time he goes to a groomer. They don't forget easily. I cut my own dog. That way, at least she won't be abused or cut bald. She is a monkey, but we manage. She is soo good letting me pluck the hair in her ears, but hates her feet done. I need to h ave my husband hold her leg out to me and then I can get it.
At any rate, I hope you clear uop really fast and don't get an infection or anything.

OMG ...I can ALMOST understand a nick but not multiple cuts - poor baby - Man - why can't people treat our pets like they would their own when we trust them with their care for a FEW HOURS ! We pay them them for their training - and expect them to treat our pets with care and gentleness - and to get cut and end up in the vets over a Grooming is nuts !

That's very sad - I'm so sorry he was hurt ...wow - Glad no stitches were needed too - man - I would be so IN THEIR FACE ..it's never happened to us - but we did have a rough groomer once...and I had a nice talk with her boss - but to see actual cuts would send my rocket to the moon

Villette--the crazy thing is, this isnt the 1st time he was there. This was his 8th app with her. She has always done a great job with him. She would always tell me how good he was, never wiggle or anything like that! I was sooo upset. I called toady, and got the answering machime. She is her own boss, so I only have her to complain to. She has it in her own house. I dont get it, I really dont. So now, I have to find a new groomer....So hard in this area. My vet said this lady was great. All of my friends go to her for many years now, and none of them have ever had aproblem! Crazy. I was soo angry!!!!! But so far, Luig seems fine. Much better than yesterday.
And I counted a total of 7 nicks plus the big goug on his chest. And the nicks are everywhere on his legs, and tummy and chest. The more I think about it, the more upset I get. And now we have a really bad haircut to look at for at least 5 weeks til it starts to grow in. :eek:

oh sweetie - I wonder if she had someone else cut him ? that just doesn't sound right...That's ALOT of cuts ! I've never nicked mine while grooming and I know they can wiggle - but if I did ONE nick - I would be 100 times more careful ...how she got to 7 cuts is crazy !

I truly hope that didn't hurt like I think it did - man - All those cuts PLUS a big gouge ? It sounds like she may have been drunk or let someone else groom him ? Poor him and POOR YOU !! That really sucks. I'd be so upset I couldn't think straight.....

I hate to say this - but after Chanel was hurt by that mean groomer - she cried EVERY time I took her for a ride for months - I had to keep taking her on short trips and stuff to get her to forget she met the groomer from h*ll.

I hope he doesn't remember that miserable day - People can make mistakes and I really understand a nick but in your case - that's 6 mistakes too many.

Chanel and Cheri send really big hugs and I hope he's ok - I know MOM is traumatized and I sure don't blame you for that one bit !

Thanks Villette---So far he doesn't seem too traumatized...still loves going in the car!!!!! I have been washing his big wound (gouge) 4 times a day, and he doesnt seem to mind that at all. I think I may order a coulpe videos and learn how to cut groom them myself. Can't be too hard--I do do hair for a living! haha!!! But we will see. I have a client who has this one groomer that will come to her house and she is fabulous, but a bit pricey. But no price is too high for my baby!!! Thanks for your concern. You are soo sweet!!! Tell Chanel and Cheri says he loved thier hugs!!!! He sends them some puppy lovin back!!!! ;)
