My baby chews on his crate. Im scared its too hard for his teeth. How can i get him to stop |
Spray bitter apple on it |
ok i ordered some but it has not come yet. Is there anything else that i would have in my house that i can put on it |
Maybe its chewing on the crate because its tethered to it? puppies need entertainment and to be able to explore their new surroundings. If you want to keep puppy contained in one area buy a pen.;) |

I have used the clear deodorant before with no problems it was recommended on here and on the web. If your uncertain I would wait for the bitter apple. It was made to stop chewing |
does he have toys to play with? Most of the time if you give them a toy or a chew bone (not rawhide) it will keep them busy for a little while. Seems to me the pup is bored. |
Chew toys are an excellent idea! Sometimes they're just chewers though. Mine have zillions of toys and as a puppy Spike still insisted on trying to chew table legs, baseboards, books on low bookshelves- you name it. He was a big chewer! I had him in an x-pen if I couldn't watch him like a hawk so fortunately he never got a chance to do much damage. Gracie and Sugar weren't chewers- guess you never know. |
Lots of balls and squeeker toys worked for Mika.:) |
yes he has many. I think i even went overboard in the store...lol |

Ive been very lucky and havent really had a chewer. Tuck chews on his natural bones and hooves. He will run over and get them out of the toy box whenever he feels the need to chew. He's not a big toy fan though. |
Does he get bully stick, get the veal ones they are easier for them to digest. |
