Doggy odor. Oh I have so many questions.. The baby was bathed yesterday before pickup but it still has this doggy odor around it...NOthing bad but just the odor is new to us as we never had a dog before...HOw to remove the odor ? |
Where is the odor coming from? Ears, feet, breath, potty area??? |
Why don't you try bathing the baby again and go from there ....?!?! |
Roxy smelled real doggie when I first got her. I started weaning her from the food breeder gave me with a good diet. Within a week or so the doggie smell went away. |
I use earths best shampoo and deodorizer spritz. All natural and love the smell of it. Did the breeder bath your dog or did you? The breeder bathed Pebbles and I found I had to do her again. I waited until a week before I bathed her though as I wanted her to feel comfortable in her new surroundings first. Hope this helps a bit. |
I think you need to identify where the smell is coming from first. Is it the ears, eyes, beard, mouth etc.? |
Mika had a real doggy smell when he arrived and the smell is caused by the mother licking/cleaning the pups since birth. I waited a few days and then gave him his 1st bath, that was fun, he ran around like a crazy dog after being rubbed down with a towel and he still does this and he is 7mths now.:D |
