I found this ad in the newspaper for a puppy. How does it look |
Breeder uses "T-cup" - red flag. Also, I think a good breeder should have those ears up - you will have a tough time getting them up now... |
I'm always worried about people who label their puppies as teacups. He's adorable but I would certainly visit the premises and find out more information about the breeder. Also, find out the health guarantee. Some breeders only give a few months, when it's nice to have a year+! |
I think he is super sweet looking! Course, I think I may have puppy fever! |
Although I got Kaia before I joined this community, if I were to get another baby later down the road, I would certainly choose a breeder that was featured on YT. Here's the list posted from the YT featured breeders section: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/fea...ders-list.html |
His ears are down and his coat is very short......he might be younger than advertised. Just a possibility. |
I see you live in Atlanta and these people are from Marietta - there are a lot of "good" breeders in Marietta but I'd suggest looking them up through the YTCA first. And even then, you really need to see the parent/s, where they're being raised, meet the breeder, ask questions (there is a list posted on a sticky here on YT) and then go with your instinct. Also, ask what Ch lines they're talking about. I don't really like it when that's mentioned because it usually means that they're so far back that it doesn't matter. Most breeders with Ch lines are well known enough that they don't have to mention it. JMO & Good Luck!!! http://www.ytca.org/mainview.htm |
http://www.ytca.org/breeder4a.html#GA Here's a list of some YTCA Breeders in GA. One of the TOP breeders is Ty Ava. |
If I recall, in GA, they can sell puppies at 6 weeks, which is way too young for a Yorkie to be sold, so we aware of the puppies age. |
