Update on Mollie
 
Just wanted to let everyone know. I just got off the phone about 30 mins ago with the Vet. Mollie did fine she was just waking up when she called and she wasn't happy. I could hear her crying in the background. She said she was fine that dogs tend to do that when they are coming out of the anesthesia until they get their bearings.

Anyway they want to keep her one more night just to keep more antiobotics in her. The vet said that her uterus hadn't completely healed from where she had the puppies and, we could have treated it with medication but, like I told my husband we did not get her to breed her to make money. We wanted to let her have 1 litter of puppies and she did. So I didn't want to put her through that again.

The vet did say that if we hadn't have caught this as early as we did it could have turned into pyrometra(sp). So everything turned out for the best.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words, thoughts & prayers. I really appreciate it.

I will continue to keep you guys updated.

hat is great that she is doing okay. Sad that you cant bring her home yet I know. Hopefully the time will pass quickly for you and you will get to bring Mollie home.

I'm so glad to hear she's doing okay. I've had her in my prayers. I know you won't feel whole until you have her safely home and in your arms. Soon!!

Yeah I was hoping to bring her home today. But, I know she's going to be fine there is someone ther 24 hrs. So she's not going to be by herself.

Hugs and kisses to Mollie. Tomorow will be here before you know it and she will be home. Sounds like she has a great vet to give her some needed extra care right now.

That's such good news! Thank you so much for the update! Hopefully she will be home tomorrow and then she can get the best medicine ... Mom's lap!!! Toto sends sweet puppy kisses to Mollie and her babies! ;)

Thanks for letting us know about Mollie. I'm sorry you aren't able to bring her home yet, but since there is someone at the vets all the time she won't be alone. If they are anything like our vet, the people there love the animals and spoil them even more than their owners, so she is probably in good hands. I have always said I want to go to the vets when I get sick instead of a doctor because they seem to be more caring and the animals get better care than people!

Thanks so much for fixing my avatar for me I really appreciate it. It looks great. You are a very sweet person.

I called one more time to check on Mollie and they said she is doing fine. She's been eating and drinking good. Thank goodness. She will get to come home tomorrow. I can't wait.
