Welcome to YT....My lil one uses nothing but the silk harnesses/leash from Chattiesmom...... Never a problem with her getting out of them. She makes them to your furbaby's size with room to grow and IMO they are the best !!!!! |
Last year, I had the same experience with Murphy getting out of his harness and heading for a 4 lane highway. I researched harnesses and found the Buddy Belt. It is a step in harness, has a buckle, and is made of leather. It is somewhat expensive, but will last forever. It never needs to be adjusted. Murphy has been wearing his harness for over a year and it still looks like new. I will never put another harness with velcro ever again. It fact he will always wear a Buddy Belt. |
Missy uses a silk step in harness that I bought from Chattiesmom. It saved her from being attacked by a boxer today. I was able to yank her up off the ground and into my arms. |
I dont mean to take this thread to another tangent, but I am looking for the right size puppia step in. Every site I go to has a different sizing scale, so I'm not sure what size. Frankie is 2.13 lbs. 7 inch neck and 10 inch girth. I know someone out there has a tiny and could direct me to the best size. Or, is he too small for that one? |
