One can fall in love with a fubabies pictures. I picked 2 of mine from pictures, I don't regret it. They are full of love for me and me for them. I would go with #2. Congrats and best to you. Read all you can about potty training, etc. and you will be set. :thumbup:

i always go for personality not looks . example i went to the shelter and i wanted the siamese but he wanted nothing to do with my kids or husband but the black cat kissed my sons nose and that was it we took home 2 black cats

I like #2's face and coloring better.

I'd ask the breeder for their input regarding their personalities before making a decision, and more pictures, if the trip to visit them first is impossible.

They are both adorable, and pretty. My first thought was that #2 would be the one I pick. Then I was looking back and forth in the pictures and realized they really do look a lot alike but #2 is darker, and we all know that the color on their head and face make huge changes LOL Soooooo, I would probably base my decision on their personalities and which one you think will fit in with your family the best.

How about asking the breeder to give you an anonymous description of each of the two girls...then see if the description you prefer matches up to the picture you prefer? Then you would have a "picture perfect" match! :D (and if they don't match, well then you'll just have to take both of them! LOL)

They're both adorable in different ways. #1 is lighter colored and 1 oz. smaller. #2 is darker colored and 1 oz. heavier. Me personally I would make the trip and go see which one chooses you. They're both so young and their little personalities are starting to shine through. I don't pick a pup by what it looks like. Personally, I want to see what it acts like and how it reacts to different situations and how it interacts with me and the other pups in the litter. Make the trip and let the pup do the choosing...IMO...:twocents: Good-Luck... :thumbup: :goodluck:

This is the reason I do not have anyone wanting a puppy from me at this early age.. they are so tiny and young yet..when Lisa told me she wanted piper she was 15 weeks and I had not thought about them leaving at that point.. anne

I think you can pick a puppy by its picture though. I had Missy picked out through pictures before I went to see the litter (lucky me, I got first pick). Missy was my favourite personality-wise when I met the puppies too. She just stood out to me.

Why do you have to pick now? They're too young to take home yet, anyhow. Why not ask the seller to wait until you can get there? This little pooch will be your companion for many, many years, so there should be no rush, IMO. One of them will speak straight to your heart in person, I'll bet...

I will definitely make the trip before I pick her up next month. It's so hard to choose right now like everyone said. At this stage their personalities are barely showing and for me that is a big part of my decision. OYE! Thanks for all the help guys! When she sends more pics I will be sure to post them. A video would definitely be a great idea!!

I'd take either of them! They are both so cute. You might try this: take the puppy, put it's lower paws in your hands and then look to see what it's abdomen looks like: does it have an striations (folds of skin running up and down) this might mean the puppy has a hernia. Don't get the puppy with the hernia, get the one without!

They are both precious and both little sweeties, but I think I would personally pick puppy #2 :) I have to say though, in all honesty, they really do look alot alike :p

If, for some reason you cannot physically see the puppies, I'd be very cautious. You need to see how they react with you. Do you like a mellow, loving puppy or the more rambunctious baby? I searched for 6 months for my Jezebel & what I saw out there was amazing. I can't tell you how many homes that I have walked away from. I saw Yorkies with a wire hair coat (NOT!). I did see some beautiful puppies living in disgusting conditions & had never been handled, so you’ll have a shivering, cowering mess. You never know, you can be purchasing a puppy mill dog.
I suggest you go local. It can even be advertised as family raised, but when you react with the puppy, you can see if it has been socialized. They can take the litter from the puppy mill, bring them to their home & say, "Family Raised". A socialized puppy will interact with you, where one that is not & the puppy is bred just for the $ & the dog is not maintained, handled, trained, or loved. I have beautiful babies that I tend to 24/7. They are well adjusted & so loved. Many call me back to purchase another baby. Just be careful buying sight unseen & no interaction. You never know what you are going to get!

Thanks to everyone who replied. As promised I have an update for you. I am going to see the puppies in person in 2 weeks and am going to try to make a decision then. The other lady decided to go with a puppy from another littler so there is no pressure on me to decide now. The breeder is WONDERFUL (she is Nolens Yorkies, I dont remember her YT username) and is helping me meet all my needs even before I know I need them. Based on the looks from the pictures I would say 2 myself but she sent me about 12 pictures more and number 1 is definately cuter and more outgoing in those pictures (sitting straight up and alert versus laying flat). We talked about personality and we feel like number one is better for me based on personality and body composition. I am not going to make a decision until I meet the babies in 2 weeks and hopefully I will come back with the picture of the baby I choose. Thanks again!
