Ears? 1 Attachment(s) Is it to late to tape Pebbles ears up? About 2 weeks ago her one ear started to flop in the evening when she was tired. Then one morning it was still flopped and it has been down for about 2 weeks now. I have shaved the floppy ear in hopes that it would go back up, but it did not. So I was just wondering if it will still work if I tape them she is 4 1/2 months old now. ThanksAttachment 276851 |

My little one(2 3/4 lbs) had her ears up perfectly, they came down one day in Feb and never did go back up. With her it doesn't really matter to me, but, I did prefer hers up(she's a biewer). Good luck p.s. I woudn't tape the other ear if it's up nice, but, I would also shave it to keep the extra weight off of it |
Pebbles is so cute!! There's still time for you to get her ears up. She's probably started teething and the ears frequently droop during that time. They usually go back up on their own once she finishes teething. :) |
Did not know you could just tape one ear How do I do that? I thought I needed tape adjoining both ears after you tape each one individual to help keep them up:rolleyes: |
Just take the tape around the one ear that is down. Hold the ear up where you want it, then tape |
Pebbles is precious, I think she is teething. Keep her ears shaved and it will stand. Her ear looks like it almost standing.... |

We have a breeder section here, they know a lot about taping ears. If you post this over there I'll bet you get some really good suggestions to help you out :) |
You could also try cutting a "triangle" the shape of her ear out of brown paper bag and attaching it to the inside of her ear (shaved) with eyelash glue. This is what I do for my puppies ears, the other puppies don't see it like they do the tape and don't pull at it. It will stay on for about a week and doesn't seem to bother the littler puppers like the tape does.. I'm sure she's teething, but this is what I'd do. Good Luck -Diana :animal-pa |
