licking Peanut and Precious are doing better.. I have been walking them consistanly 2xs or more a day and making them sit before eating and all that other stuff to make them behave and its working .. no major fights in over 2 weeks maybe 3.. they actually can be pet and played with at the same times now .. .any way now that they are getting along, Precious will go up to Peanut and lick her ears .. does any one know why they do this ?? should I be worried ? or is this a good thing ?? theres no aggression , she will just walk past Peanut and now and then just start licking her ear and peanut will stand there and let her and then its done .. I just find this odd and amusing considering just a few short weeks ago they were litterally killing each other .. and i have no idea what it means ... thanks for any info :) Noël! |
My shihpoo licks my yorkie's ears. I've read it may be an alpha thing. The lowers in the pack like to groom the alpha. I don't know, but my shihpoo is a MAJOR habit licker. He licks the bend of his back legs. He doesn't lick sores, but knots up all the hair on his belly. I think it's a soothing thing for him, he does it mostly while settling down at night or first thing in the morning. I've started to make sure he has something to chew on at all times and walking him more to see if that helps. He is almost 4 has only started this in the last year. I hope your babies continue to get along, I'm not sure what the ear licking thing is about, maybe someone will enlighten us. |
My yorkie female grooms me. Is this normal? When she wakes up in the morning, she would lick my entire face if I let her! |
