My dogs sleep in the bed with me. I sleep on one side of the bed and they sleep on the other side of the bed. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning, my dogs are sleeping against my back. Once I wake up, they put their head on my pillow and give me kisses, which I think is cute. I like that my dogs love to cuddle with me and show me affection in the morning. :) |
Mine sleeps at the foot of the bed in her own bed. Then comes to cuddle right before the alarm goes off. :) |
Well, Chelsea sleeps on my neck/chest. Murphy sleeps up against my knees. Alexander sleeps along my right side under my arm. Colby Tate is sleeping curled up against whichever side of my neck Chelsea leaves free. Jordy sleeps either by my knees or my feet. :D Sorry - this isn't really what you asked. The short answer is that all five sleep in my bed with me (thank goodness it's a king size lol). I love cuddling with them and watching them wake up in the mornings. Murphy has THE CUTEST yawn when I wake him up! :) |
My 4 let me sleep in the queen size bed with them. Sometimes they even let me get a few inches away from the edge of the bed :D:D |
Leo sleeps with us sometimes, sometimes with my daughter, sometimes on the couch. Basically wherever he feels like sleeping that night. With Delilah, I planned on leaving her in her crate at night. It worked fine the first night. The second night was okay till about 3:00 a.m. She whined to go out to potty and when we came back in, she kept whining so I brought her into bed with me (I'm a pushover). Now last night, I didn't even bother with her crate and brought her in with me right away. :p What can I say, I'm a sucker for snuggling! |
When I first got Fiona, I kept her in her crate, as she got more used to me, and her new home, she would whine, so, she sleeps in bed with me now! You would think she is a great dane though, since she knows how to pick the best spots and take up lots of room. She will either be in between my legs, or on top of my pillow! :) |
where else? Once she could sleep thru the night without peeing (which was quite a while for Molly...she would pee in her sleep), she slept in bed with us. DH wasn't too keen on it at first, but now he calls her to go to bed when he goes (much earlier than me). DS tries to get her to sleep with him, but she won't unless he's the only one home...ha! She'll snuggle with him for a while, but then she's back to the big bed! |
Apple sleeps in the den/kitchen/dining room/entry hall, either on pillows (that are completely around the couch, or on the couch which has a blanket on it that she likes...I would let her sleep w/me, but I'm afraid she will jump off the bed and hurt herself:rolleyes:...Even if I had steps, I'd probably worry she'd decide to just jump off the bed...anyone have any suggestions? Maggie:) & Apple:aimeeyork |
lexi starts off either on the couch or the spare room, then around 2 to 5 in the morning she comes and sleeps with me under the covers, back and forth for hours.. no wonder i have bags under my eyes lol. |
I cant believe so many furbabys sleep in your beds! Too much action going on in mine that furbabys can't witness lol Tia sleeps in her crate at night in the dining room NOW. |
Bree use to have a bed that she slept in until she chewed it up. Now her favorite place to sleep is on the right side of the love seat and if she thinks someone is going to sit there she has a little fit. |

Alfie sleeps on a blanket at the bottom of the bed , sometimes he goes in his own or creeps downstairs and burrows in the sofa Most nights you find him against your face and I have to growl at him to let him know who is boss He gets real humpy If we have a cuddle and dives inbetween us So most nights involve a few growls at each other Me and Alfie I mean, not the missus |
molly sleeps in my bed with me, usually rite at my head! i get kisses everytime she decide to turn! lol..and i just love to watch her stretch when my alarm goes off in the morning..sooooooooooooooo cute! i did try to leave her in the puppy pen at night...that didnt last long! lol..she sleeps much better close to me..i do have to get up twice in the night to put her on the pee pad though..luckily she's a sleepy head just like her mom..so its lights out and straight back to sleep for both of us...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz:aimee york |
All my pooches slept in my bed  IR soooo naughty. It was a squeeze with a German Shepherd in there I can tell you! But I was a bit smaller then, too! Bluebelle sleeps at the foot of the bed and watches TV when we go to bed. After she has been out at about 6am, she is wide awake (and I am not!) so she comes back to bed with her baby and just snuggles...but no more sleeping! |
In Our Bed Pete and Dakota sleep in the bed: Pete at the bottom and Dakota under the covers at my side. Problem is that I can't move! |
In my bed usually :) Sometimes he prefers to sleep under my bed but usually he ends up cuddled next to me. |
Pixie sleeps in her pink igloo in the corner of my bedroom...she's too little to have on the bed and I have a large hubby that would probably roll on her or kick her off the bed by accident! |

Callie has a big pillow in my room and a soft dog house and she used to go back in forth but now she just sleeps in the soft dog house unless she gets really cold or dosent feel well then she will get in bed with me but when she was a puppy and we where training her and keeping her in a crate at night we would say go to bed and give her a treat when she would go into her crate so now we tell her to go to bed and she goes into her soft dog house and gets her treat. I dont sleep well with anyone in bed with me and I'm not sure she does either so it works out well for us to have our own space. |
When Mojo was a baby he slept in a crate in the hallway. I was afraid DH or I would roll over on him in our sleep and smother him! When he was nine months old and fully housebroken, we started letting him sleep with us. He sleeps on a blanket at the foot of our bed, but will come up and cuddle with us if he sees one of us awake in the morning. He can easily go 12 - 14hours without a potty break now. He often goes to bed by 8:00 at night, without me, and will sleep till 10:00 the next morning. :) |
