This person should be shot! Humane Society Finds Suffocated Puppies MEDFORD, Ore. -- Seven puppies apparently suffocated in plastic bags and sealed in a plastic storage container were discovered near the trash bins of the Southern Oregon Humane Society. The puppies appeared to be Labrador or German shepherd mixes about 8 weeks old. Their bodies were found Sunday. Bill Templeman, executive director of the humane society, said the shelter is investigating the incident with Jackson County animal control officials. He couldn't recall any other cases of animals that had been killed and dumped on the premises. Templeman said the deaths were especially disheartening as the society was finding new homes over the weekend for a busload of small dogs, mostly Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes, rescued from shelters in Fresno, Calif. This makes me want to vomit> It does not get any sicker than that. :thumbdown |
It just doesn't make sense... Why would someone rather dump these puppies off at the trash can dead, when they could have been handed over to the humane society alive? |
