OMG Gross Last night one of my mom's friends came over. We hadn't seen her in years. Anyway, Emmett loves strangers. He was trying to greet her so my mom picked him up to show her. He went to kiss her on the face a little, and she stuck her tongue out and let him lick it. She frenched my dog!!! I was mortified!!!!! Is Emmett going to be ok? I don't even know if this chick has any diseases. Should I be concerned or am I just totally grossed out and over-reacting??? |

Lol, he will be fine. That is kinda gross on her part. But Jackson's eaten poop, twigs, leaves, who knows what else outside and he's absolutely fine! He's a dog - licking a ladies tongue is not going to give him a disease. If anything, SHE should be more concerned. ;) |
Thanks for the reassurance. I lost all kinds of sleep last night dreaming up these terrible scenarios about Emmett getting sick or something. I am a really over protective parent of my furbaby!!! |
I think it is gross that she was sticking her tongue out initiating it but My jewels has stuck her tongue in my mouth and our tongues touched before also |

Well, my 5 yr old son, who Curly actually belongs to, puppy kisses Curly Mac. FIrst time I saw it, her tongue was going a mile a minute and his was keepin time alright! I said, "Eewwwww WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" He said, "what???" I said, "why are you licking that dog?" He said, "Duh mom, that's how dogs kiss!" and then he rolled his eyes like I was some kind of idiot. So, I guess your friend isn't the first but I was kinda hoping this was a kid thing that he would grow out of! |

It wasnt Mythbusters but they did a whole bunch of tests thst concluded this to be untrue. So who knows now.... |
