Can I breed her?? I have a have a 15 month old female yorkie that is a little over 3 pounds...Is she safe to breed to once she turns 2?? |
Oh no, she is way too small to even consider breeding and at 15 mos. probably won't get much bigger. Most breeders like to have their dogs weigh at least 5 lbs. I'm sure she is adorable, would love to see pics! |
I would'nt she is to little |
No. It would be very unsafe to breed her. She would need to be about 5 pounds or more to do that and have a good frame for it. |
I know others have said it but I'll just say it too. She is too tiny and you can lose her. I'd have her spay to prevent any accidents and just love her as your baby. Elaine |
Iwouldn't risk it! She sounds way to tiny. And at 15 months she still may be too "young". I think my dog who is two years old now just is in heat and this is the first one where she is " wanting " to breed. She is being fixed because she is too small and not in perfect standard of the breed. |
Are you willing to risk losing your girl? She is way too small to breed. At least 5lbs. I wouldn't do it. |
Hi and welcome to YT! It's good you're asking about your girl and breeding. You've been given good advice, especially from Elaine - enjoy her for the baby she is meant to be.:) |
