Yorkie thinks she's a BIG dog! Anyone have a "Rottwieler" in a "Yorkie suit"?:D My little Yorkie girl, CutiePie, who weighs in at a hefty 2.5 lbs., thinks she's a Rottweiler!! Thank heaven for leashes! I was out the other day, feeding our horses when Cutie "discovered" the "intruders"! What a hoot...lmao! Our very large quarter horse, Treasure, put his nose down to the bottom of the fence to say "Hi there" and little Miss CutiePie turned into Kudjo! She was growling and barking so ferociuosly that she was actually bouncing up & down! Treasure just gave her a look as if to say "how rude" and walked away. I couldn't stop laughing!! I had to pick her up and carry her back in as she refused to "just walk away"! Gotta love our Yorkies...fierce protectors that they are:yelrotflm |
Couver thinks he's a big dog. He did the same thing when he met my sister-in-laws three horses. He growled and barked! He could NOT figure out what they were! :p Also, at the dog park, he runs around with all of the big dogs! He does know when to get out of the way, but he really has no fear! People talk about how gutsy he is. |

Our Yorkie is like that in the fenced back yard. She will bark her head off, she bounces up and down. All four feet come off the ground and she throws her head back and forth like it could fly off! She's a tuffy you just ask her. LOL Our groomer has horses and I pointed them out to our yorkie but she just looks at them with no intrest. Maybe because they aren't ours and she's in my arms. In the front yard which isn't fenced she stays very close to me, doesn't bark and only let's out a quiet little growl now and then. In the front yard she is on the porch with me on on a leash laying in the grass. |
Yes, I have one. Wiggy is good with small dogs, but he goes crazy after large dogs and other animals! He also watches TV, I swear. If dog or horse comes on TV, he goes into Rottwieler mode. He's also the alpha-dog over my 100+ pound Weimaraner! But, I think the Weim just allows it. |
