What do you let your Yorkie get away with!?! We all know we spoil our babies too much, but what are some things you let them get away with?? Every night for dessert/snack time, I eat animal crackers or pizelles (italian snowflake crisps) and my husband has a cookie with ice cream (you can tell who is the health nut and who is the indulgent!!:)) and every night Snickers is on the couch with us having animal crackers & vanilla ice cream!! I think he gets more sometimes that we do!! I know it's no biggy, but I am a freak about what Snick eats, so to me, this is a big no-no!! Come on fess up!! What do you let your Yorkie get away with!!?? And no one can criticize another!!! Even if someone feeds them steak off their dinner fork!!!!!:D |
Hmmmmmmmm......my Yorkies get away with ...... EVERYTHING! :D |

I try to have Coco sleep in her crate every night next to my bed. But her real routine is that she is there until about 2:00am. At that time she does a little cute sound to wake me up and I sneak her into the bed with me. The hubby HATES it. Plus I buy her EVERYTHING possible. |
I always give him bits of my food as long as it's not extremely bad or chocolate or anything obvious. His begging is definitely my fault! So that's the main thing he gets away with - people food. Which, I know, some say is soo bad to do. But he eats healthy for the most part so i'm not too worried. When we're driving in the car, if I stop at MickeyD's or something and I get a milkshake, he always gets a lick. And I always get him a cup of water! lol. He's always pretty obedient besides the begging and chasing/barking at cats. |
Everything:D |
Oh I forgot to mention that Snickers gets the bottom of my fruity popsickles and I get the top!! I'm surprised he is not wired from the sugar!! :D Now he is always checking out what we are eating thinking he will get some!! |
It would be easier to answer what she doesn't get by with. We have created a little monster. She is a daddy's girl and one spoiled brat. (but we love her to pieces) |
LOL Here Princess rules the house. It's more like what she lets us get away with. Hmmmmm Not much:yelrotflm Princess is beyond spoiled, she thinks she's a Queen:) |
Unfortunately Buddy dosen't get away with much:( I am on him like butter on bread. If I allowed him free range he would become Alpha in a minute. It is like raising a child again. Honestly. He's very well behaved, trained for many things and listen's to me, most of the time:p Buddy's a big boy and I can't let him do whatever he pleases. He needed lot's of training and I have given that to him. I'm not about to let it go down the drain now. He thrives on discipline and seems to be happy to receive it. He's my little love this boy is. It's been a long road these past 5yrs but the outcome was so much worth it. |
He gets WAY too much people food but we don't eat fast food so it is usually mangoes, tomatoes, lettuce, meat, chicken, fish, etc. |
Anything and Everything!! :D |
omg!!!! your asking the wrong person.. shes not 10 lb for nothing.. everything i eat, she gets a piece of.. very bad i know. cant help it. those pretzels and dip everynite.. gotta love em.. lol... |
Genghis has found his way into our bed. He also gets a little taste (sometimes more than a little taste) of meals we cook at home. We do not feed him from the table or from our plates. |
For my Charlie we let him get away with everything. just not CHOCOLATE or too much sugar or salt foods. i mean in the end the we pay the big bill when they get sick. |
Everyone just loves their yorkies don't they! :D She always get's a piece of something I'm eating. Mostly any veggies I'm eating. If my parents make dinner (living at home while in college) and there's green beans (YUCK!), I let her have a few because she LOVES THEM. I think she'd pick green beans over a piece of meat. Now, my parents... she get's away with SO MUCH! My dad always said she wasn't allowed on the couch... HA! he changed his mind pretty fast. :p They like to give her treats, like some meat, fish, veggies, cheerios. Her fav veggies are green beans, cucumbers and carrots... and she hates fruit! |
EVERYTHING:p |
Gosh, poor Winston...he really does not get away with much. Yes, he begs to play and we'll play with him...or he begs to be held and we hold him. But these are things that we want to do with him...we really don't mind it at all. He does not beg for our food...he has his and we have ours. I guess maybe I let him get away with too many poopy treats, you know, the ones he is suppose to get after going poopy outside...and he thinks he should have one just for being outside. |
I let Tina drink out of my cup sometimes so when she sees a cup on the floor she automatically thinks she can drink out of it. I know it is a bad habit, but I don't like to tell her she can't have a drink of water. |

Great line "I am on him like butter on bread". |
Lucy doesn't get away with too much, but she does love a tiny corner of warm buttered toast. My DH also (much to my disgust) sometimes allows her a taste of his beer if we're out with friends for a drink. |

Well, I'm in the same boat as several others - I've created a begg'r and its all my fault! Her fav is when hubby eats a Dairy Queen Dilly Bar - when most (but not all) is gone, then Bailey gets to clean the stick. She'll wait paitently while hubby eats most of it - when she "thinks" its time to turn it over, she'll let out a little woof. :) |
