Darn dinkleberries I swear I cleaned Brandi's butt at least two times a day . I want to cut the hair around her bum because it is growing, it' not time to take her to the groomers and I don't want to spend 40.00 bucks just to cut the hair around her butt. What kind of scissors should I use if I want to do this myself? Thanks |
I use scissors you use to cut human hair that I got at Sallys beauty supply |
I have a peanut razor and you can get them from Sally's.. I keep all the butts clean with this.. it works for tipping ears, and feet at the same time.. if you do this after bathing her.. you will not need to spend a lot of money as often at the groomers.. hope this helps.. anne |
Thanks for the suggestions. Between cleaning the cat's crap and now the dog's crap, I am all crapped out! It's just so weird washing a dog's behind. What's even funnier is that she stands there patiently while I am cleaning her butt :p. I never in a million years thought I would be cleaning a dog's butt not once but on a regular basis! But it has to be done because she sleeps in the bed with me and is allow on the couch. At least all I have to do with my cat' is change the litter box. |
I have to have Sam trimmed back there or he gets those pesky hangers... |
Guess I am a lucky one. Tricksie has long hair but hardly ever has a dingle berry. BUT, I hate it when her bowls get loose as a goose. |
Don't tell him please I stole DH's mustache trimmer and used that to trim Sully's butt. |
I usually trim Cassi and Ori's hair around the butt at least every other week. They rarely have dinkleberries. However, one time I had some friends over and of course one of my friends pointed out that Ori had a dinkleberry hangin...to my dismay. So I brought him upstairs and used a tissue to wipe and noticed the reason it was hanging there was b/c he ingested my hair and apparently my hair was still in his anus so I had to pull the hair out. I was sooo grossed out!!! |

Well it's nice knowing I am not the only with this problem. Fortunately for me once her hair is cut I don't have to worry about it until time for another hair cut. I think maybe she gets the dinkle berries is because of the way she poops. It's sort of this walking while pooping thing going on :(. Her poop tends to be long before it breaks off. Some how it gets in her hair...not sure how. She doesn't have loose bowels or anything. In fact her poop has a rather nice consistency and color. I give her poop a 10...........(crowd standing and applauding)! |
