Cat collar with a bell.... I know some owners are opposed to a neck collar....but.... Mia was so little when we brought her home. She was not used to being in a new place.. We have a fairly large and busy household. One of the first things I went out to buy was a cat collar with a bell. We lost Mia in the house 4 times in the first week. I looked for a dog collar but couldn't find one small enough. We also have a harness and we never, ever put a leash on her collar. It's just so we can locate her. :D |
We had bells for both Gracie Ruth & Yogi. It helped a lot to keep track of them. However, sneaky little she-devil Gracie learned how to walk so that the bell wouldn't ring, so that she could do things she knew she wasn't suppose to. :p |
That is incredibly funny...They are actually really smart dogs. They catch on quick. This is actually my first Yorkie baby. I fostered one which was our tenants. (That sad but true story is in the Invisible fence good or bad.... thread.) Wehave so much fun with her.. |

I got a cat collar with a bell for Tia too. At 2 lbs......she's very easy to loose! It's only on her when I'm home though. When I'm not there, she's in the ex-pen. |
I did that with Lucy, my first yorkie, when she was puppy. It is a great way to keep an eyes on them. |
I have a friend that uses a cat collar with a bell on it to keep track of their maltese puppy. |
