Think if you had a Lab or something... it's not that easy to just take him everywhere with you. I've grown up with always leaving the dog at home when you go somewhere. The only time I bring him places with me is if we're going to a park, a kids baseball little league game or something of that sort. It's just the normal thing to do. |

I agree with a couple people here, first find out why hubby doesn't want the pup to go. Then see what you can work out from there, maybe they need to take turns. Maybe they are competing for your attention? Some men get jealous of babies taking attention from them so why not a dog? I also wonder if it's because you are both young. We will have been married 25 years next month and my hubby loves our Yorkie, he tells her she can go with us sometimes after I tell her she can't. |
It seems like alot of us are in the same boat here going by the posts. I asked my DH why cant she come with us and she does most of the time and he said he would like us to go places where she can't go sometimes e.g restaurant. He has a point because EVERY weekend we do something that involves her also. But like you I cant stop thinking about her when shes not with me. I guess I hoped it would wear off a little now she is 10 mths old , but its got stronger. So sorry not much help here lol.:D |

:thumbup:WOW, this is a tough one, but this is the right answer IMO. I am gone all day too, and I spend as much time with Bonnie as I can in the evenings and weekends. But our DH's need our attention and love too. Maybe DH is a little jealous. Show him some extra affection and maybe he won't mind if Couver goes next time. |
