Puppy Twins From where I picked my puppy, two of them were twins- born in the same sack! I think that is cool but I cannot afford 2 of course, so I was wondering if I got one twin would it not bond to me as well, or would it be major depressed to be separated from her sister. Has anyone ever gotten a twin? Just curious about what problems they may have.... Or maybe they would have an even better bonding ability??? |
I don't have a yorkie who was a twin. Although Maddie and her sister still look and weigh the exact same. They were very very close when I took her home. She and I bonded instantly, and I don't see why your puppy would have any trouble at all. :) Infact I know twin girls (people) who were adopted to seperate homes at about 4 months of age, and they had no problem in their new families, when they met as adults, they really didn't care for eachother all to much:rolleyes: |
I have never know two babies to be born out of the same sack.. ask the breeder to make you a deal for both of them.. I would rather have two of mine stay together.. but that is me... anne |
I asked my breeder and she said no deal for two! And plus, this is my first yorkie, I will have my hands full with just one! But... my boss may get one- maybe the other twin. So they could have playdates at least. No guarantees... she is just thinkin about it. Either way, I think my little twin will be ok! |
I never heard of dogs having twins! Super Cool! Wonder what they would look like as they got older? |

They look like 2 yorkies . |
I don't think I could bear to split them, not any more than I could adopt *one* human twin. It's too rare an occurance. If you can't afford both of them, then take one of the other siblings. They should be together. They earned that right in the womb. |
