Non hair pulling topknot band or bow? Hi, Is there any scunchies/bands/hairbows and etc.. that will not pull out any hair from my baby's topknot? I tried so many bands and they all keep pulling out her hair and getting tangled. I want to be able to keep a topknot in her hair without her getting bald. =/ |
I've use various kinds latex and rubber, I don't have any problem with either, are you keeping the bands too tight? Also, many people recommend cutting the band, just be sure and pull the band away from hair before you cut. Cloth bands are easiest on the hair, but I have a problem with them staying in place. Some people take the band out at night, but Joey can't see a thing with the band out, so we keep a loose band in at night. After the band is applied, I add a bow, you never use the bow, as the main band. |
I get my bands from Des @ go.fetch™ I find them super stretchy and they stay in place. I also cut them out when it's time for them to be removed. |
I agree...to avoid tangling and pulling out her hair...the bands need to be cut. The purpose of the bow band is simply to hold the bow in...not the hair...so they are easy to remove without tangling or pulling. |
I use the Latex bands from Walmart. Less than a dollar for about 100 bands. Same thing.....Just sold at Walmart... |
I like the baby size soft scrunchies. They are the only thing that Gracie will leave in. Everything else pulls her hair. |
Thank you for everyone's advice =D |
