my poor baby fell !!
 
MY Husband left Snickers (8wks) in our room while we are away just to make sure the Danes dont accidently hurt her. Well she managed to get up on our bed and go out the window, she fell off our roof 2 stories may I add. She saw my neighbor and ran to her, well she saw my hubby pull up and came over and gave her back to him. No one new at the time how she got out or what happen, she was soaked and so scared. He gave her a warm bath cleaned her all up and then checked her out took her to the vet and she was all running and jumping around with in a no time at all. I couldnt belive it and was so worried, then he had to leave to go to work so I made him take her to the neigbors to be watched till I could make it back. It reminded me of the time Sky my 5 yr Dane broke our screen and get out on our roof ! NOw that was a funny site (cause she saw daddy go out on the roof the day before to clean the gutters)I guess she had to check them out also. lol Now our bed is in front of the window and the window stays shut now if we arent in there.

OMG how scary!!! I am taking from your post that she is okay. Thank God! I would have bbeen so worried! I would have been a basketcase! I am glad she is alright!!!!

OH I WAS and since I was stuck about 3 hrs away and couldnt check her out my self right away... Just luckly she is ok and is making the Danes chase her now !! She gets them to chase her and she runs and hides under my desk or under the playpen lol then she will tap their feet and jump back where they cant get her lol

You must have been petrified. I can only imagine what you & your family went through. Thank goodness she is ok.

Wow! I panic every time Gus stickes his head between the rails on the stairway. He will be upstairs and stick his body halfway out to see whats going on down stairs. She is a very lucky gal. Do you know what she landed on? I know how happy you feel! To have your pet survive an accident that most others wouldn't have is such a grate feeling. What are the odds of a puppy surviving a fall off of the roof (a 2 story roof to boot)? She is just as tough and lucky as my Gus,,,,, surviving an attack of a German Shepherd! I am SO happy she is ok!

We dont know what for sure she fell on all we know is she was soacked and dirty and scared to death. We believe she landed on the flower bed. She must think she is as big as the Danes.

I should be able l to get a pic of her up in awhile, have to wait for hubby to get batteries for the camra :D

Yea I am proud of my hubby to even think of putting her in our room to make sure Sky and Jasmine wouldnt accidently hurt her while we were not able to be home and for taking care of her and calling me as soon as he found out...and all he did to make sure she was fine before he had to go to work.

We do have a zoo around here with the 2 Danes, Snickers, cockatoo,turtle, fish, guinea pig and kids, so he is pretty good at making sure everything is fine and taken care of before he leaves the house if I am gone.

yes Snickers is my Yorkie, Sky is my mama Dane 5yrs old,Jasmine is Sky's baby she is 9 months, BLanka is my cockatoo she is 6yrs, Misty is the turtle and Fuzzy Buttons is the guinea pig. Kids are 18,16,10 & 9 the 10 yr old is the only girl.. Plus the 3 kids I watch on the weekends ages 2,4 & 6 so yea we are a busy bunch here...

LOL, The dogs are bugging me if they are not upstairs in our room by 9:30 to go to bed. And the kids let me sleep in. Now I dont really ever get to see my Hubby except on Sundays. we both are in school full time also and then he has 1 hr before he heads off to work till 10pm and then stays up till about midnight to do homework and then we are back up at 6am to do it all over again. Lucky for me I am home by noon and can take a nap when he leaves at 1 till the kids get here.

Oh yea I forgot lol I also run a food bank and hubby runs sound at our church!! We do need a vacation lol

Glad to hear Snickers is doing fine. Some dogs just don't have good depth perception, so you might want to watch her closely for a while to make sure she isn't one of them, as she might jump from any height again. Just glad to hear she is doing fine. :D

We are not sure what she feel into but she was filthy so we think it was the flower beds around the front of the house or the bark on the otherside. She is doing just fine and is teasing the danes lol
