curious i've had such a time after losing my 4 yr old yorkie Teenie-beanie, she was under 2 pounds and a mill rescue, she never wagged her tail or even licked anyone, but i knew she loved me...my question is she had the tongue sticking out trait(she had all her teeth) is this common?? is there any reputable breeders in wisconsin. i have a bone disease which makes it hard to have any dog on my lap or pick up over 3 pounds-i thank you so much |
Hello hun, I am new to the forum but wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss, my lil Yoda is a mill rescue also! I am in Southern Illinois and have a great breeder (NOT KENNEL) that is absolutely wonderful and she does ship if it is necessary! I have fibromyalgia and have great difficulties at times and have always had my lil yorkie lap dogs. I don't know if you are interested in shipping or anything like that but my email is rsmith0803@yahoo.com if you would be interested in further details. Best of luck to you, Rachel, Mr. Yoda:animal36, and Princess Laya on the way:heart to |
Hi and welcome to YT....so sorry about teenie....... Not sure how common it is...but Tulip has her tongue out alot.....I was just laughing at her...because she came over to lay down by me and her tongue was sticking out...LOL It even dries out sometimes...LOL Hope you find that yorkie you are looking for....Maybe someone can help you!! |
Living in Texas I don't know of any breeders there but I just wanted to tell you I am so sorry about your little baby. The hurt is terrible, I know. Its so sad what these little dogs go through that are born in puppy mills and sometimes even byb. But, I bet she knew she was loved and what a wonderful thing you did by giving her a loving home after what she probably went through. Again, I am so sorry and words I know, just don't help. Only time, but they are never forgotten. RIP little one. |
Yes, them sticking their tongues out is very common. My little biewer also does this a lot. I'm sure you can find some good breeders in Wisconsin. But, a good breeder can only guess on how much their pups will weigh when full grown, and it may be hard to find another one that small. Good breeders do not breed to get tinies, it just happens sometimes. Good luck on your search |
many many heartfelt thanks for your kindness. it seems once we give out hearts to a dog-especially the almost human yorkie we have been touched forever. your little ones look adorable-but then is there such a thing as an un-adorable dog?? i think not. blessings for taking the time to answer me so kindly -candy |
I am getting my girl from a breeder in WI. If you'd like, I can give you her email address. She has a boy (5 weeks) but I don't know if he's spoken for yet. PM me if you're interested. |
Welcome to YT!!!! I hope you find a new baby soon. So sorry for your loss. |
I have fibromyalia too. I put a pillow on my lap for the dogs to get on...It decreases the feeling of the weight. Have you tried this. I am so sorry for your loss! Good luck on finding a new baby:aimeeyork |

Welcome. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can find a little one to give your love to. |
