Gus slept in his crate until he was house trained. Now he sleeps with me and my husband. He loves to curl up on top of me when I sleep on my side.:D |
My little man tends to begin the night in his bed on the floor next to my bed.... then usually around 2 am he cries for me to pick him up and put him in bed with me. He likes to sleep under the covers usually by my feet. I think that it is the weirdest thing. He loved tight confined areas where he feels safe. Now that he will be living in a cone for the next two months, I try and just throw a soft blanket over him so he has the feeling that he is under the covers with me! |
My lil guy Timba sleeps in the bed with me and the hubby... he makes sure that he is exactly in between us all the time...sometimes he will sleep down by my feet ... he always makes sure he burrows under the blankets to keep warm..:animal36:animal-pa |
Bailey sleeps in bed with us on her own pillow - yep - three pillows lined up in a row on our bed! :) Sometimes she'll cuddle up with either me or hubby. At 5:30 EVERY MORNING she'll walk over to me, put her face right in front of mine and wake me up - either by staring at me then lightly whimper with air -or- tap me nose to nose. Much better than any alarm clock!! |
My little guy sleeps with me as well . He started off in his kennel until he was 6 months old ...then it was with me from then on. Since I sleep on my side most nights , Wiz curls up in curve of my stomach ...I have no idea how he breathes under there but I guess it is a sense of security for him. |
My husband and I both sleep on our sides and Kayla will jump from side to side until finally she will end up sleeping between us, either her head on his pillow or mine. She likes to sleep on her back when she is between us. What a little wart. |
my Bryan used to sleep in his bed inside his play pen....he got sick around thanksgiving and has been sleeping in the bed with me and my boyfriend and we love it.....when he wakes up in the morning he walks on my and gives me kisses then he walks on my bf and gives him kisses also it sooooo cute!:D |
I don't have my Yorkie yet but my Shih Tzu sleeps with us at night. Lately though he's been sleeping with our daughter in her bed. Sometimes he'll sleep on the couch. I slept with him from Day One and he had several accidents in the bed. I'm hoping with Lolly I will be strong enough to crate her at night until she's housebroken. Knowing me, I won't be able to do it, and I'll end up with pee in the bed again. :D |
Lily sleeps right next to me curled up in her own blankies or under the blankets ... and Mia sleeps in her crib with her own blankies she's too little to sleep in bed with us I am afraid she will fall off :rolleyes: |
I got Sammy a few months ago, (puppy mill rescue), and he was too afraid to be near me. after a few days, though, i couldn't stand being apart from him, and now he cuddles under my chin while i sleep on my side. It took me a while to know he was there when i was asleep, and not roll over on him! but we worked it out quickly, and now he loves going to bed. |
Zoey starts off by crawling under my comforter and sleeping by my feet. But once she gets hot she crawls out and makes herself comfy somewhere else on the bed.. Shes sleeping next to me right now and she looks so adorable. i cant stop leaning over and giving her little kisses. Im sure shes thinking "mom stop! im tryin to sleep here" lol |

Snickers slept in his crate until we knew he could hold it through the night and now he sleeps with us, usually right in the middle of our 2 pillows, but sometimes he sleeps on my side or hubby's. We love it!! Also recently he starts in his doggy bed and then come to me at 4am wanting to be scooped into bed. It's so cute, sometimes he just needs his space, but usually is his normal cuddlebug self. I love it. In the morning he wakes up, and comes and licks or sniffs my face to get me up, or just lays his head down next to mine. What a sweetie!! This morning, he tapped me with his lil furry paw & put his wet nose on my cheek....then after he pee's and eats he runs back to the bedroom and asks to be put back up to snuggle with Daddy but ends up on my side sleeping like a human baby with his head on my pillow and body in my spot under the covers...I really should post a pic of this, it's too cute!! |
