hello Here is a website for a vest pattern. http://www.sewing.circleofcrafters.c...stpattern.html It is a simple pattern, good luck and happy sewing...Sherry |
I was going to post that link too. I have made a simple vest with that pattern with polar fleece and velcro, very easy and no sew. My only problem I had was trying to print the pattern... it kept printing a really small size one no matter which size I picked to print. I had to save the pattern first and then print it from the saved location for it to be the correct size, not sure if anyone else had that problem. |
ok thanks you guys! :aimeeyork |
Thank you for the pattern link. I just downloaded both the dress and coat patterns. I think I feel an inspired moment coming on...... |
This might be a stupid question, but how do you attach the D ring to make into a harness vest? |
Vest pattern ~ So simple!!! Cute!! I sewed the vest for our Yorkie/Chi mix (Chorkie) female Bitsy. Turned out so cute! Made it from denim material salvaged from old jeans and lined with white material. To attach the D ring, I took a short narrow length of denim and sewed along the edge and then turned it inside out. I then attached it to the vest putting the D ring just behind the shoulders securing in either side of the ring with bar tacks. She has worn it when on a leash since two months of age and is now 7 months which was made possible with the velcro closing. Possibilities endless with choices of material!!! Easy to attach lace for females as well as masculine touches for males. |
