aggressive/territorial so when i try to put molly in her carrier she becomes like a little deamon and starts growling and snapping she goes in like half way and tries to close the carrier herself...and when i try to zip it up she sticks her nose out and growl/bites it takes a while but i usually get her in. i have this problem when putting on her harness as well (growling/biting). any suggestions on what i can do to make her stop? |
IMO she's telling you she dosen't want to do either so you have to find a way to make it a happy time for her. Try sitting on the floor with her and giving her tiny pieces of chicken or something she likes. I would work on the harness first. Place it on her while feeding her a treat. Before you know it the harness should be on, praise her to the heavens if she's a good girl. One step at a time. Before you know it she will be fine with both. |
thanks i will try this when i get home...i know she likes going for walks and she always wants to go with me when i'm going somewhere. when i'm going towards the door she goes to her carrier and paws at it.. so i really don't know what her problem is. she would probably rather not be in it but thats the only way she will get to come. but again thanks for the advice:) |
