I was thinking about Teagan this weekend. Any updates on his recovery?

I would love to see pictures of Teagan also. In about 6 months my baby Tucker will look like Teagan. He will need surgery for AAI. He's too young now. His bones aren't strong enough yet. Tucker's Mom

When I first read about little Teagan, his story of his young life is so heartbreaking. Thankfully, he is getting everything that he needs. It is so heartwarming to read that his surgery went well and that so far this special little baby is doing so well. This little guy has touched everyone's heart here and we are all rooting for him. I too, would love to see pics of him as he progresses.:cheer::cheer::hug:

Teagan update
 
UPDATE 5-6-09
From Teagan's foster Mom....
May 6, 2009 Teagan Up Date



21 days after surgery.



As you know Teagan has had to be crate confined since his surgery for healing, (except to potty and eat.)



Today Teagan went back to the surgeon for a progress check. The surgeon was very pleased with how Teagan is progressing, from what he was before the surgery, to how he is doing now is truly amazing.



Prior to surgery Teagan could only lie on his side and kick his feet, he could not sit up without being propped. Now Teagan can lie like a normal puppy, he can stand and walk a very short distance. Teagan could not wag his tail before surgery; he is now wagging his tail with glee.
Teagan’s intensive therapy begins today.
WHOPPY, doing the happy dog dance TEAGAN IS OUT OF JAIL. :woof::woof::woof:
He still has to be constantly supervised while he is not in his crate. His leg muscles are still very weak because he has been unable to use them for approximately 3 months......the therapy will enable his legs to get stronger every day.....



Teagan thanks everyone for all your support and prayers, he loves you all and sends kisses.

What a fabulous update! Way to go little Teagan! I know the road ahead will be a tough one, but I have faith he is going to pull through it all beautifully.
I can't believe he is wagging his tail - I got chills when I read that. :aimeeyork

Teagan you are amazing! What an inspiration you've turned out to be. I absolutley love you little man, and I'm sooooo happy for you!!! We'll do a happy dance together when you're legs are a little stronger, ok? For now, I'm sending you bunches of hugs and kisses!!!
