im going to lose it... bailee has always been prefectly housetrained from the time she was 5 months old and now all of a sudden she pees everywhere, somehow manages to find her way out of the two baby gates i use to keep her in the bathroom and thats just the half of it!she pees on my bed when i tell her to stay there! It is out of spite! i dont kno what to do!!! "no" is not working!ok now seriously, who took my sweet lil dog?!i need help, for real, wat do i do? |
I would take her in to the vet. She may have a UTI/bladder infection. |
there was a point when morgan was having accidents around the house when i knew she was perfectly capable of holding it. she too peed on my bed and on the carpet or right next to the damn wee wee pad i had put down to try to get her to go ON it if she couldn't hold it. well we resorted to putting her back in her crate when she couldn't be watched. after a week of this she was back to her normal pottying outside self. thank god. edit: oh i also took her to the vet for a urinalysis just to be sure she didn't have a UTI...which she didn't |
I agaree with Kalina82, I would first check with Vet for UTI and if all is clear start back at step one. Sometimes they just need a little reminder. Also you might want to think has anything changed in her life, new people places things they are creatures of habit, and thinks that you might not see as a big deal can become one if not delt with right away. |
Zoe does the same thing periodically when I haven't been as strict with her for a few days. She also learned how to jump out of her xpen so I had to get a taller one. I don't have an answer, but know others have or are going through the same thing. |
I am kinda in the same boat. Gucci has been housebroken now for 4 months. He really is great with it, but I find he does some "spite pee" sometimes. It usually happens after I go out for over 2 hours and leave him in his crate. I will come home, let him out to do his business, which he does, and then a short shile after I will find his littel puddle of spite somewhere! It is so aggrivating! I guess these little stinkers are trying to tell us that it is not nice to leave them! If anyone has a good fix for this, I would LOVE to hear it! |
