Does your yorkie know... Does your yorkie know when you are sad? sick? hurt? I have had a terrible flu for the last 5 days, leaving me pretty much on the couch (and YT:rolleyes:) most of the day. My mom has been helping me out a lot, espcially to potty train Lucas. Anyways, Lucas seems to know theres something "wrong" with Momma. Every chance he gets, he comes tearing down to the basement and up on my tummy, giving me smoochies and snuggles to make sure I'm alright. He also scritch scratches on my door in the mornings until he gets to see me. I definitely think our pups have intuition about what's going on with us. What about you? What do you think? |
I’m with you in the intuition part…I was just telling my boyfriend how Pizuki has stayed by my side for the last two days, I too came down with a nasty cold since Friday and all I want to do is sleep…I woke up in the morning feed her…we both when back to sleep…afternoon lunch back to sleep…by nightfall my boyfriend came from work and was playing with her …but silly girl keeps coming back to the room every two minutes to see if I’m still in bed, and runs back to her daddy for more fun! :D |
I would also have to agree 100%... Everytime I come down with a bad cold (or last year w/Pnuemonia) my lil one wouldn't leave my side...but I had to admit she did run when I started coughing really bad, but other than that she was on me like glue :) |
I agree 100%. When I start crying because my pain levels get too high...they don't leave my side! They are so smart!:p |
I agree 100% as well. Fiona knew I was upset earlier this week ( boyfriend and I got into an arguement) and she was by my side licking me cuz she knew i was upset....... |
Last week I went to visit a friend that was having a lumpectomy. She has a yorkie so it was cool to bring Mia. Well, when we got home from the hospital after the surgery and Anne sat in a chair with her feet up. Mia jumped up, walked across her legs and laid facing Anne her chin on her tummy. I went to shoo her down and Anne said let her stay. It was a moment where I just felt Mia understood. She just laid there looking at her like, "I know your hurting, here I am." Mia is a good little nurse. |
