Thin hair on top of head The hair on the top of my 5 mo is quite thin. No bald spots, just not as much of it. Is that normal for this age? The rest of her coat looks good. Just wondered what the norm is. Thanks! |
Tobie is 4 months old and his is the same way :) |
Cleo is 4 months and her head is kind of thin also. Maybe it is just a stage they go through! |
Very normal, and probably means she will have a gorgeous coat. Biogroom makes a "Spray Set Texturizer" that I used on Joey's topknot, I got it when he was a puppy, and it really made a difference, it doesn't leave hair stiff or sticky, but definitely makes it seem thicker. I found it online. |
Mocha is 1.5 years old and the hair on his head is pretty thin. It started thinning out as he grew out of his fluffy puppy coat and grew into his silky adult coat. |
I was going to say the same thing as Nancy. Ben's hair was very sparse on top of his head when he was a few months old, you could see some scalp through it. His coat has come in beautifully. So very silky! He is 3 1/2 now and I think it looks great. |

I don't know if the topnot & bows are going to work for her. She doesn't have a prissy bone in her body at this point. Also doesn't like me brushing/coming around her face at all yet. But I'm sure gonna try! |
