LOL! Mine is like this. Except for following me to the bathroom at 3am, she much prefers sleeping ... so I'm on my own there. Any other time, though, right there. Doesn't annoy me in the least. The close following has it's pitfalls though, when I suddenly turn around because I forgot something or to go back for some reason, ...I've accidently kicked into her. She's quite forgiving though. lol. Oh and the shoe thing! Mine appears out of nowhere to watch me put on my shoes, then goes lie her sister (my Shih Tzu) that they're going on walkies...thereby putting them both into a tizzy. I guess I have to hide to put on my shoes from now on. lololol! What would we do without our followers? ;) |
Yep! Silvia is the same way! If she's laying on the couch and I get up, she's gonna follow me and cock her little head to the side, as if saying, "whatcha doin?" She also follows me to the bathroom and pushes the door open. If I'm there awhile, she'll check on me every few minutes. I'll rub her tummy and she'll go play, only to come back in five minutes! Too cute! |
Geez LUWEEZ, she just described Stedman to a T! I don't call him "annoying" but he is VERY nosey and indeed very, VERY needy....he is always RIGHT UNDER ME. No matter where I go. Tatum is a total mommies girl, but even she doesn't get right under me like he does. What can we say....our little stinkers just LOVE US! :D |
Maybe she needs to play with him more.He sounds lonely. |
I have 9 small dogs and only the Yorkies and Biewers follow me around. My Spicy and Rusty are like whatever when I leave the room. It is what I love most about a Yorkie. They want to be with me all the time even in the bathroom! If I do get tired of them (Rarely!) I put then in their pen for awhile. |
Relieved I was so glad to see that others cannot go pee without an entourage. I know that it is my fault. I would always let Parker know where I was when he was little & that grew into him jumping on my lap while I was on the toilet. :embarasse Now I have him & Price going to the bathroom with me. When I shower, if I close the door they scratch on it or push it open & then stick their heads in to see what I'm doing. My dh said that he can always tell where I am by seeing the two boys as my shadow. Since I didn't get Sasha until she was grown she didn't have the urge to check it out, otherwise it would be a full house in the bathroom  |
Zipper is my shadow 1 Attachment(s) Zipper is always inches from me except when I puppy sit. Today my daughter's two yorkies are here to join zipper and daisy. Then it is play time. He goes outside to play but only if I am out there. Yesterday they played for 4 hours digging up the bulbs I just planted. I am trying to leave him and daisy in the playroom for 2 hours a day and will extend it. I am going on a week trip and I don't want him to pine so much he gets sick. The rest of the time is is always an inch or two away. I have two months to teach independence. |
I can't even go to the bathroom or take a shower without company following me...I love it...I would be lost without my crew. |
awww getting a puppy is like getting a child...if ever mine is not around me I am the one that gets worried and looks for her making sure she doesnt get into trouble... i ove the fact when i sit on the couch she is with me...or if i am at my computer she will lay on my feet to keep warm...the unconditional love of a puppy is the best... i even wish sh would give me more attention sometimes..like at night she started to sleep in her own bed..i miss cuddling with her...but it is her choice..lol |
Its like having a personal Jesus follow your every step! How great is that! Rocky does it to and I love it!. Annoying, would be the last word on the planet I would describe this angelic behavior! |
ha omg.. mine both do this too.. i never thought anything of it cuz i think it's kind of funny that they go everywhere with me... yes, that includes the bathroom ... i have no idea why though... but i never find it annoying either... they're just my little silly butts |

I feel for that poor Yorkie. He needs someone who will love his little ways. That lady needs a cat. |

I love those things about Lillybug, her following me around and stuff. It warms my heart so much. However, she can get pretty annoying and drive me bonkers sometimes. Love her though so I put up with it, the other stuff far outweighs her being annoying. |
