don't mean to be a smartie but it sounds like you have a big problem... If it was me, I WOULD NOT take her, she might get hurt unless they have been around tiny dogs alot. Sounds like a real good way for her to get hurt or be very uncomfortable wearing diapers.. sorry for your BIG problem.. Sharon PIXI & SPIKE.. |

HI! I live in NC too! WOO! :D:D Anyways, I'm not sure how long of a trip from here to PA would be... are you driving? How old is Abbey? If you are driving, you can always stop on the way up there to let her out to walk and potty. I took Baxter to Pinehurst and to South Carolina (at different times) and he made it okay without any stops. That was only two hours, though. If she lives three flights up, then get prepared for some exercise! ;) And if you don't trust your furbaby around the triplets, and you don't want to keep her in her crate, then I would keep her on a leash. Personally, I would probably just hold her the whole time I was visiting. |

traveling its a 8 hr drive..we did this at Christmas and she's a great traveler. Guess I'll just take weepads for the Condo and naturally will keep her on a leash at grandchildren's..dreading this! |

ya i guess Id bring wee pads adn take her out as much as you can while in the condo. What about taking the opportunity to teach the triplets how to properly play with the dog...like show them how to throw the ball or toy of choice, show them how to pet the dog on the floor, explain how they have to be very careful not to step on him/her and how you have to be very gentle. At seven they should comprehend the gentle concept. That being said I still would keep your little one right near you with a leash, etc and never leave kids/pup unattended......because the little one is so fragile and kids are kids. Have fun!!! |

traveling when w went to Pa for Christma..stayed in Homewood Suites and Abbey was fantastic...would potty outside and inside on weepads..did great with kids My problem this time..staying with daughter with a broken collarbone and broken elbow an her 2 cats! Im taking her crate and babygate and praying she doesnt stress out the oler cats! She's great on the 8 hr drive..only have to stop once for potty break..but I dont feed or water after midnight and hit the road at 7am..once we arrive..I feed her and water and exercise. will take pads as that up and down is horrible!!:animal-pa and when visitng the little one's...Im placing 2 leashes on her and have the kids hold 1 and me the other! its only for 3 days..so hopefully will be ok?!:) |
