I miss my Millie
 
I thought it would be easier to stay away but I keep finding myself coming back.

I read all your stories and it makes me think of all the wee things Millie done, and all her wee habits, and I feel so sad that I wont see any of that any more.

Its so hard.

This has hit us harder than the deaths of some relatives.

:hug: I lost my Coco dog about 3 years ago. That was hard for me. I had her for 10 years and she was such a big part of our family. She is still missed and I still think about her. Roxie has really filled a blank spot in my heart. You'll never forget your Millie but it will get easier. Soon you'll smile when you think of her and the tears won't fall as often. She'll always have that very special place in your heart. That's where she lives on.

im with you on this shell, on wed i lost my best friend for 14 years, Jessie my border collie. It ripped my heart out and makes me cry to type this. Think of the good times and feel blessed you had her, thats what gets me through each day.:hug:Sending a hug.

Thanks for all your messages. I can think of her without crying now, but I just think it is such a shame and such a waste of a gorgeous wee girl. She was our wee darling - just like a baby.

Its so disappointing that we cant see her grow and change and spend so many years with us.

Your situation just hurts my heart. I am SO sorry your baby is gone...I have only had Puddin' for 7 weeks and if she were to disappear from my life, I don't know how I would cope with it.

Have you considered another Yorkie pup? Nothing can ever replace Millie, but these pups are so endearing and engaging, surely a new one can help heal your heart?

I am so sorry for your loss, she was so young. I lost Dixie last year at 7 months after just 5 short weeks of having her and there are days I think of her and still cry, but the others keep me busy and are the best medicine for a breaking heart.

I am starting to look for another one, but I dont want to rush into it. It sounds silly but I wouldnt want Millie to think we could replace her so easy. Feel like it wouldnt be fair on her.

Today would of been her first birthday if I read correctly? Today is my fiancee's birthday as well!

I am so sorry for you, I can't imagine how you must feel but I know how painful one evening of thinking my baby was put to sleep was. And it was devastating, I couldn't imagine how I would be feeling now if she really was "gone" still. We are all here for you if you need us. You can also PM me anytime you'd like. I feel a little out of place here because right now I had to give my yorkie up, I am staying hopeful that I do get her back. I can't stay off yorkie talk either and my fiancee says if Stormy doesn't come back he doesn't want another yorkie ever :cry:

Im so sorry that happend to you. Not sure I would ever go back to that Vet AGAIN. Please understand in time you will be ready for you BOY or Girl and we cant wait to hear all about it...LISSETTE
