Maybe with a yorkie train - I have read that some members here are doing this sometimes. This is posted in the rescue forum on this board here and one of the posters wrote he would take her but he is too far. I´m not sure how much members have the postings read.
Sadly I´m located in germany.

The adoption fee is $14 for the dog license and $15 for the adoption fee.

The new owner will receive a $50 voucher for the spay or neuter.

For dogs that are in high demand, there will be a lottery to choose the adoptor. The vast majority will be adopted without a lottery.

I saw this too and was wondering if there wasn't a Yorkie rescue that would take her in or if someone in Ohio would take her and foster her until a home could be found. I live in NJ. The sad part is that she is not the only one that could end up facing being gassed. That is such a horrible cruel way to die and should be banned. We give murders a lethal injection yet an innocent loving animal dies in the cruelest of ways. Makes me sick to my stomach. Elaine

Unhappily I live in germany and can nothing do than attend on this thread. It could be not possible, that a young yorkie will be euthanized. This girll could have a long happy life if someone rescue her! Adoption fee is so low against other rescues.

Please, please help this small girl to live!

Here is a link to a Yorkie rescue in Ohio. The board members can be sent an email and link to the shelter. I normally don't get involved with rescue but hopefully one of you rescue people can make the contact.

Oh please, can someone write the email? I have difficulties and not able to fill out the request, maybe because I´m from germany. Can someone do it for me btw. the little yorkie? Request does not accept my answers, I have tried it.

I sent an email to the President and Secretary who both live in Ohio and also to the Vice President. Hope that helps.

I cant´t thank you enough! That was very kind of you.I have so much hope for the yorkie girl and wish that she can have a better life with lots of love.

Thanks Patti, but I had nothing done. The only thing which was possible for me was to post and push the thread so that the yorkie did not forgotten. She is in a kill shelter and that´s so cruel that I´m crying. Obie and erickjam in the rescue-thread are great persons and my thank belongs to them. I´m hopeful that the baby will be rescued and that it is not too late.

In germany we have some rescue organizations for different breeds and shelters too, but no kill shelters. I have never heard of kill shelters in germany. And very rarely is a yorkie putted in a shelter and if it happens then not long because some shelters here have waiting lists for small breeds.

I think she will be fine. However, you would have done better posting in the Rescue thread. That gets the most attention especially if they are in a kill shelter. I almost drove the 6 hours myself just to insure she is pulled. Good job on letting us know.

Its great to hear things are going to work out for this little girl! I would have driven the 5 hrs, 44 minutes as well! She looks like a sweet little girl that will hopefully find her loving home soon enough!

Obie you are a great person with a great heart! I had the fear that not much members read the other thread in the rescue board so I posted it here.

Erickajam you are too!

Thanks to all who made thoughts how about helping the little girl.

I sit here with my two boys in the arms and I´m so happy that I have tears in the eyes from joy. I´m sooo happy. A happy end for this poor little soul - thank you all.
