Yorkie Fever HI Yorkie lovers out there.I have a question ? How long have you been away from your yorkie and started having your own seperation anxieties? I had to go to work this morning and started really missing my baby.I couldn't wait to get home to be with my boy.I have to say i have it bad.Anybody else have this problem or am i a little out there...lol...:aimeeyorkNew mommy syndrome...lol:D |
I have the same thing... Whenever I leave the house without Couver, I miss him. I want him to go everywhere with me. I wish more places were small dog friendly! At school I think about him, when I go out... whenever. |
10 min? lol silly but true. I cannot leave Laddy that I dont immediatley feel guilty.;) By the way our babies could be twins !!!! |

I often turn down invitations to go out in the evenings, because i want to stay in with Molly, specially if ive been at work during the day. I have just booked a holiday in a caravan in this country, where i can take molly, rather than a holiday abroad....so no, you're not alone! :) |
I have been away from my baby almost a whole week now. About the 2nd or 3rd day I started to really feel anxiety building up. I mean I would miss her if I left the house for the night or work or something but I didn't let that stop me from having a "life". Now that we've been apart almost a week I can't get her out of my mind and constantly find myself thinking of her :( |
yorkie_mama- how is stormy doing? have you heard? I've thought about you and wondered how your holding up. I pray she returns to you soon. Yorkie fever? So that's what you call it. I feel guilty just leaving with that little face looking at me as I walk out. She looks like, "please please take me too". It breaks my heart. When I'm just out running errands she'll keep popping up in my thoughts and I just want to hurry and get home to her. Plus I love the way she greets me!! No one else is ever that happy to see me. DH loves it too. I told him I should attach a tail to my bum and wiggle it like she does and see what reaction I get when he comes home. I just know it wouldn't be the same. A few times we've been gone for the weekend and I call alot to see how she is. My soon to be 13 year old says I worry more about her then I do him. Not true but it's a different worry. If it's called yorkie fever.....I don't want to be cured because I love it. |
Oh and I might add, it's very contagious! |
I do the same thing! :) Triss is a year old now and I still don't like to leave her alone too long. I often adjust my plans too. When I go grocery shopping, I usually leave the groceries in the car for a few minutes because I have to go in to see Triss first and let her out to potty. :p |
missing poppy :D i go to work for roughly 16 hours per week , usually 4 hours at a time , i start missing poppy straight away :( i can not wait to get home and give her big kisses and cuddles , and she is always glad to see me :D giving me lots of licks , she is like my 3rd daughter :p love jill n poppy :aimeeyork |
Let me tell you.. working at home is the greatest thing ever! I would recommend it for EVERY yorkie owner!!! However i just started a 2nd job and i HATE leaving her.. i always picture her sitting there wondering why mommy left? Its hard but i guess its something we just gotta get over:( |
I miss my baby all the time. Yesterday we took her out with us since I had been away much of the week. I just couldn't leave her home another minute. |
Any more than 2 hours and I start to get anxious to get home! I stay home much more now that we have Zeus. |
I'm disabled so I'm not usually away from my babies too much. I saw a thread on here where a guy had a baby cam on his furbaby so he could watch her from work. That is just too cool. If I was able to work, that's what I would do!;) |
I am also disabled, and home most of the time with my Suzi. However, It seems like as soon as I walk out the door I feel it. Suzi looks out the window and watches me leave. I hate it. SHe is my service dog, and is in training. Right now i take her to therapy sessions. It works out great. She is not fond of car rides. We live in a very small town, and have to drive far to go anywhere. We are working on it . |
Hahahaha!!! My wife and I go on a motorcycle trip every year. It is the Moto GP in Monterey California. Anyway, last year was the first year we went on the trip since we had the dog, and after a couple of days I started thinking about him, and how much he probably missed us, and how he was going to do his little welcome dance when we got home. About day four I really missed him, and couldn't wait to get home to see him. |
I work from home all so day me and my babies are super attached :) If I am watching TV and Ralphie wanders away for a minute I start missing him :p:p I have got Yorkie Fever in a BAD way, ha ha. To the point of being pathetic! |
well you guys and gals out there i see i am not the only yorkie-crazed fanatic here.I really love my boy he is heaven sent.He is the sweetest dog. I also love the way he greets me when i do come home. When we are togehter we have alot of fun.I read another post earlier and it said that the person has a web cam on there yorkie when they are not home.I can't believe it because i was driving home today and I was thinking that exact same thought about having a web cam for my baby to.funny huh.Well you know they say great minds think alike. We all love our yorkies and want to be with them as much as possible...sounds good to me.:animal36:aimeeyork |
