Hi, please let me intoduce myself...
 
My user name, Toke, is the name of my first little pooch. I'd always had big dogs before that (last one was a Great Dane). She was a Pomeranian, Peke, and Chihuahua mix...all of 5 pounds. I adored her. Since then I've had 3 Yorkies, all now over the Bridge. We lost our Phoebe at the ripe old age of 17 and a half last September. It was very sad around here, let me tell you. It was horribly empty and lonesome at our house so, to make a very long story a bit shorter, yesterday we adopted a tiny Chorkie. She's a year old, spayed, and even tho she's quite chubby, she weighs 4-1/4 lbs. Probably could lose about 3/4 lb to be healthy. Her former owner is quite disabled and was unable to give her the exercise she needs. She looks like a Yorkie except for her coloring and undocked tail. There's a lot of white on her, particularly her face. I thought I'd better post all this to ask...is it okay to post here with a Yorkie mix, or are you wanting only purebreed owners as members? I promise I'll understand if that's the case, and unregister. This looks like such a wonderful board, I thought I'd give it a try. :) Debby

Haha, yes, we are all "Yorkie Snobs"!!! Not really...I don't think anyone would have a problem with you being here at all! Many of us are owned by other dogs besides yorkies. Welcome to the board...it is a great place and I learn something new everytime I come here.

So, now you have to post pics of your little porkie Chorkie, lol!;)

Hi and welcome to YT.I think there is a few mixes on this site and a few people who don't even have yorkies yet but want one.Show a pic I would love to see this precious chubby little girl.She is a chorkie,whats the "c" stand for?

The "ch" is for Chihuahua, although they have some other weird names for them, too. Must have all started with the Cockapoo craze, back in the day. We used to call them mutts, heh.

Porky-Chorkie....LOL! How did you know that's what we've been calling her? :D

Hehehe!! I have two chihuahuas and my Mom has a Chiapoo,chihuahua and poodle mix named Sadie.I love all animals so much and when I see a sad face I want to take them home with me:) I am glad you found this site,I am new here too,I have been here for a month now I believe or close to it.

Shes a real beauty.....as for as having a pure bred Yorkie...I have a morkie, there is even a members club on the site called MIX it UP....for people with chorkies, morkies, porkie........any kind of kie's you can imagine. Welcome aboard, you'll love it here:D
