if she won't give you back your money then take a puppy at least you will have SOMETHING for your money and later when and if you do buy a yorkie it will at least have playmate. ;)

I guess i had to learn this lesson the hard way. should i warn other people of this breeder in my area or can i get in trouble for that? she is planning on selling the puppy that i was supposed to get as an AKC purebred yorkie. she says she sells them for some 1500 or something. is it illegal to like post on a local craiglist or something a warning about her?

That is definitly not a pure breed yorkie. No way does he even look like a yorkie, he might have some yorkie in him but none that is visible. I really hope you get your money back.

She won't give me the puppy now. she said it will only be 3lb. full grown and since i want to show/breed she said i cant have it now whether or not i want it. and she won't give me my full refund. i think she is crazy ::rolleyes:

please, report her everywhere you can.

Don't be afraid, nothing wrong with that, it is public forum.
many people do it.... If people like you never do it, they will continue... sometimes silence is supporting of bad business too....
some of backyard breeders/puppy millers may "scare":D you back re "internet harassment":D, but trust me, in this case you SHOULD WARN people, and secondly, it is not easy to sue for internet harassment, especially puppy millers/BYB. some people I know (including me) went through their threatening, but it was just B"""t, sorry my French....:D

okay. thanks for the advice. i just don't want to be sued for slanderous statements...but everything i said is true!!!! besides i don't think she would want to go to court...and have them investigate her thoroughly. :)

That seriously stinkin sucks! I would be so ticked off! Well, at least you did not get the puppy and then it had all sorts of problems and passed away on you. But...still. How rotten. I am SORRY.

Did you pay her with cash or check? Do you have anything it writing from your agreement? You NEED to contact your local police on her for fraud & animal control!!! The puppy's eyes don't look very healthy. What a sad story. I'm so sorry you got used by her.

you will NOT. IT IS NOT EASY, ask your lawyer;). or any GOOD lawyer, who will explain to you WHY it is NOT easy (lawyer service cost too:D). ESPECIALLY YOU ARE RIGHT !!!!!

i paid with cash...dumb i know. i just have e-mails confirming the deal. but no sig. or anything...
i feel badddd for those puppies,but they shouldn't be sold to unsuspecting people as purebreds.

you said you don't have a contract or a receipt of payment. Do you have emails from her, or was all this done on the phone? If you have emails, you have proof you paid her, and if it was done on the phone, I would call her back and record the conversation, or at the least tell her you have recorded previous conversations and tell her you want your money back. I would take her to court, or at least tell her your intent to do so...she might give you your money back. I would also tell everyone I met, contact AKC (definitely) and post a review here.

that is just terrible. Did she give you some of your oney back? I am sorry that this happen to you but like someone said at least you didn't get the puppy and then have it have tons of medical problems!
