Aww..I am SO SO SO sorry, maybe they got started late today. Try not to worry to much. When Tobie got neutered I couldn't just sit around so I went shopping for him of course!!!! Missy is tough and young, still will be fine!! Try not to worry yourself sick (easier said then done, I know).

She's awake! :) He just called. I'm going to go and get her. It's a couple of cities away, so it will take me awhile to get there. Especially considering traffic gets bad at around this time. He had to do 1 stitch, so that will have to be removed in a week.

I really want to thank all of you who posted on this thread and in my profile supporting me. I know that I sounded like such a wuss but I was really very worried about my baby girl today. I'm just so happy that she pulled through. I truly believe there is power in numbers when it comes to positive thinking and all that. So thank you again YT! :rose:

WHOA!! That is such good news, just be careful I know how excitied you are to get there so drive safly!!! I am soo happy that she is doing well!

awwwwwwwwwwwwww sweetie Im soooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry!!! I wish I was there to give you a hug!!! :( your poor baby!!! AND POOR YOU!!! :( she will be back before you know it... if shes not back yet... I just read your first post and had to tell you I was sorry... I hope shes doing ok... and you are doing ok... HUGS

Just checking in to see how Missy is doing. I think I would call them also. I called 3 times during Trixies spay. I am a big worry wart. Still praying for you guys.

Just missed your great news yay go Missy!!! You'll be ok baby girl.. Hugs and Kisses for you sweetie.

We're home!

Missy is doing great. She's just tired, but otherwise OK. She's letting me cuddle her lots n lots. So that's cool! Usually she's "too busy" for cuddles ;) The surgeon gave me the screw and washer that were in her leg. OMG they are HUGE! No wonder they rejected....geesh. He said the pin may eventually work it's way out too. It's a wait and see thing. If it does start to move, we just wait for it to get to the skins surface and he pulls it out. So she only needed one stitch. He said 3-4 more weeks of her being in her ex-pen and then I can just let her have free reign...WooHoo! :cheer:

I'm so happy to have her home again. She smothered me and the kids in kisses when we went to pick her up. I just love her so much, she's the best! :aimeeyork

OMG! You are so NOT a wuss! If anyone is, I am. Lulu got stung by a red wasp today and I was a total mess. She was screaming, I was trying to yell at my son over her screams to find out what happened...I was scared to death! Got some benydryl in her and it took her a couple of hours to settle down and now she is sleeping, thank goodness, but I won't leave her side.

All of that panic over a sting! I can't imagine what a mess I would be if I were in your shoes! You are a trooper for sure, and a great Mommy for Missy! I'm so glad it turned out well for you and she is doing well. Keep us posted on her progress! I'm really happy for you!

I'm glad that Missy is home and doing well! She's lucky to have a mommy that takes such good care of her! I have missed previous posts about Missy, but it sounds like she's really been through a lot. Glad to hear all is looking up.

I read and posted on your thread about Lulu. I can not believe what happened to her! I would be totally stressing out about a red wasp sting too. You're just lucky that she didn't have an allergic reaction or anything. Poor little thing. I really feel bad for her.

I am so happy Missy is home and snuggling. I would wait on the spay if your gut feeling is telling you. All of my girls came into heat before I could get them spayed.

Hurriedly read through your thread to see how your littled one faired today. I was relieved to hear all is well. You are certainly deserving of letting it all come out and breaking down a little -- that is just part of love and caring.

Follow your instinct on waiting a while for the spay. I recently lost my sweet girl when I knew in my heart something was not right. I listened to the vet's office as they tried to alleviate my concerns since she was not showing any real symptoms. It was just a feeling I had that she was not acting herself. By the time she really had symptoms and I insisted they see her, it was too late for them to save her despite their best efforts. I think we get so in tune with these babies because we care so much about them, our "feelings" need to get as much priority as the "by the book" advice. So, follow your heart, and just keep an extra close eye on her in case she does go into heat before you feel the time is right for spaying.

Best to you both and huge hugs for loving that girl as much as you do! I am so glad she came through with flying colors!

Thanks for the advice, you are absolutely right. I need to follow my instincts. I will just do what I feel is right. I'm pretty good at making the right decisions, and I really don't feel that now is the time. I'm so sorry to hear about your little one. :(

Aw Shauna, I\'m so sorry you n Missy have had to go through so much already. I read this whole thread hoping she was home safe by now and I sure am happy to read that she is. I too would wait on the spay. No hurry, she\'ll be fine. I know you\'re a great momma to Missy so just take it easy and love each other bunches. No more troubles from here on out!

It\'s great to hear little Missy is home and recovering. I know you enjoyed those kisses. Sounds like she was really glad to see her mommy. I hope she gets better everyday - know you are feeling better!

OMG, I don\'t know how I missed this thread! Shaunna, I\'m so glad Missy is home and doing better. I just wanted to tell you to follow your heart about spaying her. I\'ve always tried to listen when I have those \'bad feelings\' and I\'ve never regretted it when I did. She\'s too precious to take a chance with her now. As always, give that sweet little face bunches of kisses for me!
