Sigh, Simon keeps escaping from the yard. So I build Simon and Nigel a nice chain linked fenced yard, and Simon the little boogie keeps escaping. The gap is only like 2 inches from the ground, but gives a bit when you push on it. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to keep Simon in? As it stands right now, I have to stand by the fence to prevent him from escaping. Thanks, Martha |
I had a next-door neighbor dog that kept coming in my yard. We put big rocks by the fence to stop him from entering our backyard. He could not dig under the fence, because they were big rocks in his way. I am not sure if this would work, but you could pour some concrete to fill in the gaps. |
Escape Artist I ended up buying some landscaping logs to lay along the bottom edge of the chain link. There is also a gap between the chain link post and the gate, havent figured out what to do about that yet:confused: |
A woman I used to work for put rock along the bottom of her fence also. It might be a good idea to get dog tags with your name and phone number just in case. |
