The poopoo walk!!!!!!!!! Do any of your babies do a really funny walk before they go poopoo???????? When I take Luigi outside, I always know when he is going to poopoo!!!! He walks really fast, slows down a bit, and then starts picking his hind legs up real slow!!!!! The butt starts to wiggle. And sniffs, and the hind legs get a little higher, takes a few more step and.... taaaadddaaa!!!! Squats and poos!!!! His little routine never changes!!!!!!!!!! I think it is sooo funny!!! |
I just love Luigi!!! Hallie paces back and forth 8 times (I have always counted) and then goes. Simon spins around a few times (usually 3) then goes!! They like routine ;) |
Wookie jumps up like 5 times against something.. its weird.. then on the last jump he lands in the pooing position and takes a couple steps back and pooes nice smelly Wookie's poos! |

Against what??????????/ Hahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!! |
not that I want to watch poopie come out of his buttie but you should film this. I bet it's hilarious! |
LoL!.. he usually ends up pooping in the kitchen, so he jumps against the cabnets or against the wall.. LoL!!!! so funny |
FUNNY THREAD ! Cheri sneaks to the side of the house to go and Chanel will walk in circles till she finds JUST the right spot then look over her shoulder to make sure I'm watching her - then she runs like the wind to me to get her kiss - and hear what a good girl she is. They think they just did something really AWESOME when they get their 'bidness' done. Yorkie people must be the only people in the world who throw a parade when their dog poops. You don't see big dog owners getting too excited - Ever hear someone say.... "WAY TO GO BRUTUS ! Wow that was a BIG one" ! haha...I remember my friend with her huge dog - it was always - "Oh....MAN.....Did you HAVE to go THERE ?" :) |
You are so right Villette!! When Simon and Hallie go potty it's a huge celebration ;) you would think I'm still potty training ;) |
:yelrotflm :yelrotflm :yelrotflm Patrick and I laugh at our conversations sometimes .... "poo talk" is often our topic! Whodathoghtit?!? It's always a "celebration" when Toto poops on her pad! If we happen to miss the occasion, she is quick to sit in front of us and tell us! We still go and look, clean up, "congratulate" her and give her a treat!! :) You would think after almost two years we would "get over it" ... I don't think we ever will! She just loves praise and we love it when she is happy! Every day's a celebration at our house! And, yes, most people think we are crazy!! ;) |
My westie use to back up into a bush or something and then poo! My Bell likes to do it in privacy, and I'm not sure about Lilly yet, except its always in the wrong place.. |

Truffles, one of my choc males does the jumping against the cabinets thing too. I see him and grab him and run to the deck..sometimes we don't quite make it there. Have you ever had dog poop on the TOP of your shoe/foot? My husband says "Why didn't you just let him poop in one place and then we could clean it up?" Gawd, I hate practicality! Anyhow, I am trying to train him, Truffles not the hubby, to go potty on the back deck. I now have a poop deck, but that is another story. When I had a male that was afflicted with LCP disease in his hip, he walked completely with his back paws in the air and pooped. It was funny til I found out why he did that.. Tell me-how can grown women get so much fun out of the subject of "dog poop"? Are we depraved..or is that deprived? LOL |

Mollie doesn't do this. Precious my 14 year old Shih Tzu when she has to poop she walks and makes a path with hers. |

I can say this - I have never thought Dog Poop was a discussed subject till I got on yorkie sites. The only sentence I knew regarding poop was Eeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww ! Now we talk in complete sentences about it and tell stories ! lol - Yup - We're Depraved. :) |
Cookie will run in small circles really fast. Then he jumps up against a wall and starts scratching it like a maniac, he squats and looks back at me while he poops lol. In the mornings I take him into my bathroom while I get ready. He always pushes aside the curtain to the walk in shower, and takes a poop right close to the drain. I thought this was perfect ! lol It's like he almost would use the toilett if he could reach it! lol Mimi is another story! She growls as she runs in circles and then squats and poops, walks to another spot and poops, walks to another spot and poops. She does this sometimes in 4-5 spots close to each other! Genie |
Gracie takes off running to where she is going to poo poo :) and then stops and does her business!!!! |
This is hularious,Yet so true! Bailey has quite the routine also.... I know when its coming... He points his tail strait up and walks in a real staight line, usually as close to something as possible like fence, curbs,,, then he makes big circles, almosts surveying the area, then the circles get smaller, to find just the right spot. Then the hind legs come up,,,and the circles stop,,, But then just when you get your baggie out,,and think he's done......NO,,, there is usually a little more,,, so DONT jump the gun and use your baggie up,.,,,LOL Been there,, done that. A video of this would be great! Where else would people wanna see that??!!!LOL  |
I wish... Lucy had a distinct poop walk. At least then I'd know. With her it's always a surprise. |

My Yorkie has his moments. Now that he is 15 months, I guess it depends on how much Mother Nature is calling out to him. Some times, he'll walk all over the place, and do the familiar poop ritual (various circles). Other times, he'll pee, take a few steps and then get into his squatting position. |
Coco runs in circles and sometimes lifts her hind legs. She also jumps on stuff like walls or something, sometimes..It's hilarious. Then she darts away from her poo like it's going to munch on her rear. |
Yes, we call it the poopy dance. |
