Humping!!!!!!!!!!! :animal36Alex is 11 weeks old and I noticed yesterday he was humping his teddy bear and he was sitting in the kitchen and his little thing was out! I thought they didn't do this until later. Is this normal for his age? |
My baby boy, Milo, was humping the 1st day I brought him home. I guess it's just a natural instinct kicking in. |
Luigi at 3 months When Luigi first came to live with us @ 3 1/2 months he was humping everything especially Bella our 1 year old spayed female yorkie. He was humping the little 1 year old boys I babysit. Well Bella put him in his place and he stopped humping her. And by repetitive and firm no's he has mostly stopped. When the kids come in, in the morning sometimes he gets a little exited and carried away and humps them but not too often anymore. :aimeeyork:eek: |
Yes this is perfectly normal, and it use to crack me up when Joey did this. They are just showing their dominance over the stuffed animal, but don't ever let them hump a human. Dogs should learn that humans are the pack leader or head honcho. Some dogs continue to do this, but Joey stopped about a month after he was neutered. It bothers some people, but they say that if you discourage it, they will just learn to do it in private. |
If he is not neutered, it's normal. Mine always does when she is in heat. |
