whining with toy my little one is usually really quiet, but for some reason when he plays with one specific toy he will just walk around with it in his mouth and whining, then he'll go and try to dig in his bed. it's so weird! do you think he's trying to "hide it"? i almost feel bad for him, haha, its kinda cute too though. yorkies are so silly. |
Oh my gosh! Finnigan does the exact same thing!! He'd try to bury it in his bed at first, then we'd find the toy stuck behind pillows on the couch or he'd try to bury it under our legs...I think its that their instinct to bury things is so strong. It used to be so cute, but now its just annoying. Its evolved to him staring at us with this toy in his mouth because he either A. wants us to run after him or B. play fetch for hours! I have no idea how to curb this behavior because we'll ignore him, but he'll continue to do it for hours if we let him!! |
Madison does this too. It's sooo cute! she does it with bully sticks. she's whinning as she's got the bone in her mouth looking for somewhere to bury her bone. I will stop what I'm doing just to watch her and see what she ends up doing. Silly little girl. This is something my maltese never did. So I am thoroughly enjoying this. |
first of all your little finnigan is sooo cute i cant even stand it! anyway, the whining hasnt gotten too annoying yet, haha. p-nut usually ends up stuffing it as far down into his bed as he can or under his blanket. *shakes head* such a silly playful pup. |

Yeah, he didn't start this new whine until this past winter... I'm sure once its summer he'll get better... he's barking at neighbors through the window right now.... no whining tonight :D Its so cute when he tries to bury stuff though! |
Haha! Macy does this too. Whining and digging with a toy in her mouth. Always trying to bury it in blankies! Gotta love em! |
